I enjoyed to have seen the Master Musicians of Jajouka and Lee Renaldo from Sonic Youth perform in 2003 in The Hague. A Requiem for Brian Jones was held in Joujouka, Morocco from 5th to 7th July 2019.

Very sad to hear the news of George Kooymans having ALS and for the Golden Earring the ending as a band. They were the biggest act in the Netherlands, sharing the stage with other big acts like Santana, Rush, Kiss, Aerosmith and The Who.
