QuoteHairball Due to the writers block and/or Mick and Keiths inability to write together anymore, maybe they could record some new and updated versions of some of their early originals. Contemporary cover versions of their own tunes! Might be farfetched, but consider the writings already done...just give the tunes a facelift, and they could almost sound brand new. Probably not the best idea, b

Quotewickerman While a visit in Australia and Asia is long overdue, I think logistics and risks of such tour are too tough to handle. - Part of Asia is still closed due to Covid restrictions - Japan hasn't fully reopen yet. - Australia and NZ had very tight set of restrictions - that can be reimposed if another variant or virus emerges. - Distances travelling between Asia and Australia

ROCKY…again mate, so many thanks on the heads up with this being on Stan. Watched each episode twice over the weekend. I found all four episodes so wonderful. The Ronnie one was quite eye opening. EMG. But the Charlie episode was just a lovely, honest tribute. Again mate, thanks, I would have missed them if not for you!

Quotedaspyknows Quotemidimannz Quotedaspyknows Count me in. Australia and NZ definitely on my list. Yeah, come to my town ….. I'd love to. A number of years ago I had plans to do a Ben Harper tour. Tickets, airfare etc. and it was cancelled 2 weeks before. Waiting for another chance to go. C’mon down man. I’d buy ya a beer in PERTH.

Quotehockenheim95 QuoteAntoineParis States are done Maybe a little window for Australia or Japan before last european leg summer 2023 (London at the end) cheers I can't imagine them doing a Last Waltz show. The Stones have never ever been sentimental with those kinds of things. My bet is they will have a look every year if they still can do it and then decide. They’ve never had an

Quotedierdz Hi guys, I was wondering, why are Brian's shots so close? Wyman or Richards are shown with wider camera shots. But Brian was shown with detail plans. I thought it was curious. I don’t think there is a conspiracy. Maybe because he IS more photogenic? Simple as that. And really, who knows ?

Zzzzzzzzzzzz “Anyway, I just make records…” WHERE? WHEN? Just get them out. Stop “figuring” it out. You used to be able to RELEASE stuff. What so hard now? 17 years of figuring it out, good grief.

Quoteumakmehrd Powerage78 do you consider ACDC a nostalgic act now also? Ac/Dc have actually had three albums of new original material since the last Stones album of same. Hardly nostalgic compared to The Stones.

Quotetreaclefingers Quotebitusa2012 Quotetreaclefingers That's certainly the one I was referring to. It’s strange. It says on discogs notes for that release that it is limited to 900 copies. That one, when you look at the Certificate of Authenticity, is number 936. 900-ish Uh huh

Quoteretired_dog Quotefranzk Quoteretired_dog Quotefranzk I know this might sound like a heresy, but what IF, just IF, they scrapped all that has been written for the new album so far, and write another one from scratch with all songs by Jagger/Richards/Jordan? Why should they do this? If the songs recorded with Charlie were really good why should they scrap them and start from scratch with Ste

Quotetreaclefingers Quotemailexile67 In the last 29 years only 3 albums of originals...Not bad at all OK, and I know this doesn't make it much better, but each of those albums were double albums, longer than Exile. So you can say 7 albums, (one a covers album) and a few scattered songs across some compilations - the 4 off Licks, 2 off Grrr and Living in a Ghost Town, in 29 years. AND

QuoteManuelStones Hey guys, just for fun. Many years ago I only appreciated their 60s and 70s catalogue. Later on, I came about to appreciate all of their music. Here it is a double album compilation from their work from 1994 onwards. I left out many songs that I like a lot, and B&L was also left out. Side One 1) It Won't Take Long 2) Love is Srrong 3) Out of Control 4) S

QuoteVoodooLounge13 Quotefranzk Quotejahisnotdead I still regard Mick's conversation with Elton John about Madonna in "Being Mick" as one of the most revealing when it comes to set lists. When there's something unfamiliar being played, the energy level of the audience drops. It's just a fact. And when the Stones play a stadium, they want people jazzed up to the max from b
