QuoteLeonidP Quotedownagain Earlier I read a comment from someone who was wondering how historically accurate this film is. For anyone who is interested in this I would recommend checking out the latest episode of the podcast Original Gangsters. I'm midway through it and it provides some great insight into the actual people portrayed in the film. I was wondering based on a single scene

QuoteGJV For argument sake... if this gonna be an Argentina Only release, how we can get this one? For Japan releases we have cd Japan etc, but for Argentina/South America only releases..? I have no idea (except for buying it for twice the original price on Ebay). I got the Voodoo Japan release in the US from Amazon US. It was a bit pricy at $69, but it showed up on the release date. Hopefully

Quotemicawber QuoteHairball Blue and Lonesome. Wouldn't say it's 'Blue and Boring' or 'Boring and Lonesome' as others have called it, but it didn't have any staying power - after all they were standard/simplistic covers. Liked the first a couple of singles prior to full release and still do (especially live) but once I heard the whole album it was quite anticli

I purchased downloads of the live tracks, but still can’t seem to buy BoB or Bitch. I really like these live tracks, but not having the complete deal is driving me nuts! Even the torrents have the studio versions in place of the live ones. If anyone has any help they can offer on how to obtain these 2 tracks it would be greatly appreciated! Rossv427@&#

So, there is no way to purchase downloads of just the live tracks? And no way to stream BoB and Bitch? I am not too keen on paying $25 for only 10 tracks I don't already have, 8 of which I can listen to streaming. I would be happy to purchase just these tracks, but it doesn't seem like I have that option. Am I missing something? Any "help" would be appreciated! r&#

I may be in the minority, but I love the bonus disc! It reminds me of Jamming With Edward. Where that little gem was a showcase for Nicky Hopkins, this one features the great Johnnie Johnson. I love the loose jams and the songs fit the mood. Nice "bonus"!

Incredible! First, I got notice that this would not arrive from Amazon until sometime between April 22 and May 16. Then, I see on Amazon that they are available for $83 ($20 more than I paid) and can be shipped to arrive in 2 days. I was pissed to say the least! Now today, I get notice that it will arrive by 8 pm tomorrow!! All's well that ends well I guess. Weird. Tomorrow night wi

Quotefrankotero Ross, I bought mine from cdjapan, they shipped it already but there's no tracking for Germany. Did you do a price comparison between the two places? Seems like it's usually cheaper with cdjapan. Maybe I'm wrong though. Hope it shows up soon for you. It was like $63, I thought that was fair for an import. I see it's up to $85 now! Funny, I finally got a ship

I bought this from Amazon US, but they still won't give me a shipping date. It was quite pricey and, being anxious to hear it, I really appreciated the link to the download of the audio tracks that I asked for. I really don't care if anyone is "disgusted" by that. Has anyone received this from from Amazon US? Or even a ship date? Thanks!

Wow! Is the the best mix yet of the archive stuff? Nice, clear, bouncy bass. The guitars are right where they should be and easy to hear, good crack on the snare and pristine vocals! I've only listened to the second disc, but, from what I've heard, not only is the sound better, but it is a livelier, better performance that the Miami show. Maybe my favorite version of slipping away

It doesn't seem like this is going to be available in the US, I'm a bit of a fan of the VL stuff. If there is any "good news" about obtaining the video and/or audio from this release my email address is below. I have really enjoyed all of the archive stuff that has come out in recent years and buy all of it that is available to me. This group is full of wonderful people!

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteHMS Quotebitusa2012 It's a Stones classic. The best ever album closer to this day that they ever released. Totally disagree. Moonlight Mile almost ruins this masterful album. If I could have it my way, it would be removed from all further pressings. This very very strange and almost unlistenable song rather belongs to Their Satanic Majesties Request and even there

The song, Let it Be was recorded in January, 1969, Let it Bleed was recorded a couple of months later. Glynn Johns was the engineer on both. I’m sure the Stones were aware of the Beatles tune and it’s quite possible that the Let it Bleed title is an intentional jab. Of course, no one has ever admitted this, but it just seems unlikely to me that this is mere coincidence.
