QuoteWillInUK There was a website that analysed every track. Told you who played what and in which speaker they were in. It disappeared though. It was 'golgameldeg...' I'd like to know if its still online anywhere. I think it was a Norwegian website. Www.godgammeldags.no I think the address was. The author really had it in for the latter day albums.

It was part of the RS69TRAX yes. I think there was all of it. I saw The Sun Is Shining and Brown Sugar, and a slew of other tracks from Altamont. It sounded like the well known bootleg of that show. I could be mistaking though.

I think they should do it. The trademarks of Bond tunes has always been that “Goldeneye DA DAAAA” thing. That could easily be a Keef open G thing, and the title No Time To Die fits the Stones too. Do a mid tempo rocker and add horns and strings. It’s probably the closest we’ll ever get to the EOMS sound nowadays too.

I couldn’t figure out how to get the whole thing on YouTube, and Heart Of Stone was in the second half. Here’s the first half though. Cool setlist I have it a lot of thought. Actually I wanted to

QuoteMadMax Reminds of the year before in Copenhagen on my way to Horsens. Danish TV stopped me and asked me if I could sing Satisfaction going down the escalator down to the tracks, I said "No I am awfully sorry but I can sing Brown Sugar!" So they filmed me while I sang Brown Sugar in the escalator and in the evening I catched it in my hotel room in Horsens. Hilarious, I wish I could

Very well done. I don’t recall seeing that private cam footage of the Stones at the NME Poll Winners Concert before. That was the debut of JJF.

Great stuff. It sounds like a positive version of The Doors mixed with some old time soul.

It was called “The Stones on the way to Copenhagen”. If I recall correctly it was just some of the usual banter, along with two songs from Werchter. Nothing earth shattering, though it’s lovely to see some people still keeping an eye out for new stuff.

QuoteThePaleRider Well...50 years ago today...I guess everyone wants to forget it. Not me. I wrote this on Facebook just now. Tonight marks 50 years since the concert at Altamont Speedway. At the end of the 60s festivals were becoming a huge thing, thanks in no small part to Monterey Pop Festival and Woodstock. The dream was that it was possible for a large assembly of people to

Nope..you can keep the stale-setlist shows and i'll stay home and listen to the new LP--much more interested in new music than old. Although

Explain to me one thing. Why haven’t they done MSG since 2006? It’s some sort of promotor debacle iirc. Wasn’t it Live Nation having exclusive rights to concerts in MSG, and the Stones using AEG?

Manhattan Beach is mentioned in the ABB booklet. It was the mixing studio or something.... but it was contemplated as a title. There were newspapers reporting it as the name back then. Hell there was even an article that said the name was Neocon.

Quotedcba "Blinded By Rainbows"... Really? I love that one. What I hate is the over emotional Mick. The way he sings “The Queen of the NAA-HAA-HILE” on Blinded By Love is almost too much to bear.... but then I listen to any rendition of Midnight Rambler, and the man is giving even Robert Plant a run for his money....

Quotemaumau Though I did not dislike England's Lost at all, and to be wholly damned i might add: exspecially the version with the rapped interlude , I have to say that I don't believe anymore (have I ever? mmmh) that Mick's more open mind to new stuff is open enough that he can come up with really good "different" stuff. So at this point Keith's narrower but more c

Talking live versions, I don’t really like it after the 70s. Their live versions usually eclipse the studio tracks, but not RO after the 70s.
