A Squire wouldn't be a bad choice. They are decent guitars and are inexpensive. Epihones as well for acoustic and electric. You might want to ask yourself though why you really want to buy more instruments when you don't play the ones you have. Have you considered using the money to fix up the Hummingbird? An old acoustic that has been played in is a thing of joy, (in most cases!) Good Forum: Tell Me
As has been said many times ion this board. Mick left the band to, amongst other things, stay alive. He did what he needed to do. Nothing stupid about that... Forum: Tell Me
Synchronicty is another word that would be applicable here I think. I agree with you observation as well. All three were in the band when they needed to be. Forum: Tell Me

He's going to publicly immolate himself as penance for his stupidity in quitting the Stones. Do you really think he was stupid to leave the Stones or are you having a joke? That aside, I'd love to see the show!
its only a stupid decision if you dislike making hundreds of millions of dollars, playing on the greates Forum: Tell Me

The SF Chronicle, alternative press and Oakland press would surely have made mention of this at the time. Not necessarily. The reporter would have had to heard him say it. I was there and I didn't. I'll check my copy of the show. Forum: Tell Me
Jack White would be a shot in the arm for the Stones. Some new blood in the studio would be great and I think Jack gets what they are (were) about. Forum: Tell Me
For those Bay Area and elsewhere IORRians who are interested, Bill German will be giving talks on the Rolling Stones in Marin and San Francisco today and tomorrow: http://www.billgerman.com/events.html Forum: Tell Me

..love that early 60's?...[/quote No later than 1960. Hard to tell of it is the Bigsby Burst he bought from Keith or the one Mick had stolen before buying it. Forum: Tell Me
It depends on what guitar I pick up. if it's an acoustic, G, C, D and E. If an electric, A, E, C. Of course it will also depend on the song... Forum: Tell Me
