Quotelox It must be semi-leggit, some kind of a Cuban governmental bootleg version?... Not legit and poor quality. BTW, those who caught the official shirts, did you notice the label has been torn out. Did it read 'Made in USA' maybe?

Quotegrzegorz67 Quotespikenyc Here is a good video that shows the crowd entering. Does not seem too bad. I watched thst all the way through. Thanks very much for hunting that down. I agree that the crowd rush doesn't seem as bad as reported here, although it's very obvious that they got in prematurely with that fence collapsing the way it did. I wish I went now... . Nonetheless I

QuoteBrstonesfan What song or event occurred when Mick and Keith embraced one another? Always nice to see them "get along" on stage. A real change from past tours. After finishing Midnight Rambler and then again after Satisfaction.

Got to the venue at 10 am. There were already hundreds of people waiting at various gates. About 80% of them where foreigners from Canada, Holland, Germany, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Austria, Uruguay, UK and many other countries. Gates had been created by removing parts of the high metal fence that surrounded the sports complex, leaving the foundation and a wall about 1 ft. high (

QuoteCristiano Radtke Quotesteffialicia Quotebye bye johnny QuoteBrstonesfan Looks great. Official attendance says estimated 500k, but looks like a huge soccer field. Maybe 100k? Same ol', same ol'. Who - apart from you - gives a toss about the attendance? Actually, I'm curious about the attendance too. You can make your choice: "Tens of thousands", according to the

...forgot to add, there were 6 (six) toilets so far! 4 on Ronnie's, 2 on Keith's side. Will be interesting to know when and where they will find some more. Maybe toilets of the baseball stadium can be used (?). That would be Keith's side.

We were at the venue at 3pm today. I'd like to agree with MRAmandaJones that there's not space for half a million. A few hundred thousand - yes. The catwalk is rather short for a venue this size. There is now a large separated area (kind of Golden Circle) in the front. The barriers for that go all around the mixing desk tent. Sound and light seem to be in one tent now in the

Quotebv I am in Cuba but there is no wireless internet so far to be found unless you are a residential of one of the few hotels here with working wireless. I am at a good hotel but the message is "it is not working". But they have a PC in the lobby so I can comment on the IORR forum pages. But I can't read e-mail. The concert venue has space for may be 200,000 people on that mar

Quotebv Tim Ries and Bernard Fowler will be performing a gig tonight Wednesday March 9 at the following location: Gaira Carrera 13 no 96 21:00 hr They were on just before 22:50. It was a very loud place therefore the long wait was a little annoying. Karl Denson was there too. It was a more of an unusual Tim show and I'm not sure Tim knew what he had gotten himself into. Quotewith sssoul Quoteerikjjf QuoteGlimmerGirl24 QuoteCloudCat what is the altitude in lima? Around 5,000 feet - similar to Denver, I think. Estadio Monumental, elevation above sea level: 277 m (656 ft). Google tells me the altitude of Lima ranges from 0-5000 feet. Lima is a city by the sea basically. Some suburbs are on higher elevation. There are mountains right behind the stadium, probab

Lima has the worst traffic of all South America cities visited. A 9 km taxi ride from around Plaza de Armas to San Isidro took us one hour yesterday afternoon. For shorter distances it's often not worth taking a taxi, as walking can be faster. The Stones are talk of the town more or less. Front page references in the papers and longer stories inside them. One journalist found a way to mix

VIP Premium A1 and A2 (sections in front of the stage) where not sold out on the day of the concert. They filled the sections up anyway. Those who had payed the regular price had blue wristbands (in A2). Then there were lots of others with striped yellow/red wristbands. One of my neighbours said, people where sold tickets for less than half the original price. Does anyone know what the deal w
