Having checked out whatever opposition still existed after the punk explosion, the Stones finally got round to responding -in fine style- by way of a superb, hard rocking, in-your-face, up-an'-at-'em, explosion of raunch at it's very best. Hampton documents beautifully, that no-holds-barred response.

Having seen the book first hand in all its glory, it's hard not to covet such a magnificent and beautifully presented piece of work. In my humble opinion, it is well worth it, IF you have the money!

I purchased my copy at the time of its UK release, in late November of 1972, for the princely sum of £2.95, and to this day, still regard it as an excellent compendium of important Stones articles as well of course, as being a fairly comprehensive collection of the band's sheet music. For the 71 Tour and Hyde Park 69 accounts alone, it is well worth the price of admission, even if it is
