Buying tickets in the presale was a very cumbersome and tedious process. You had to click on a date, twiddle your thumbs in the virtual waiting room, and then all that would come up was either no tickets available or Platinum tickets for ~$1500. Repeat the process for each show. I think there are also separate links for General Admission Floor and Reserved Seating, thus doubling the amount of t

If it's someone I'm eager to see then I've likely already got a ticket but I've bought these discounted ones a few times to check out acts I wasn't very familiar with or on the fence about. For that reason I think it's a pretty cool offer if it encourages me to get out and see someone I haven't seen before. The amphitheaters around here don't have parking f

I’m excited. I saw them a couple of times but I didn’t think they would ever tour again, at least not the U.S. I hope they can fill arenas in the U.S. Anyway, I’m definitely going.

I was in front of the stage at the shoe-throwing show in 1978. My recollection is that it started off as kind of a playful prank. I don’t remember exactly which song they were playing when it started but it might have been Beast Of Burden. A few people threw their shoes on stage and then a few more got into it. Then Mick said “All right then, I want all your shoes!”…and it started raining shoes.

Thanks for the intel! Where did you leave your car to take the shuttle from El Segundo? How much did it cost to park and how much for the shuttle? The new parking restrictions in Inglewood have really added an extra amount of hassle so all information about alternatives is appreciated.

Quotetimbernardis Is it true the Fabulous Forum closed down? If so, when and why? And has it been demolished? It’s still there. I have tickets to see the Eagles there, in between the two Rolling Stones shows at SoFi Stadium. Years ago, the Forum was shut down as a music venue for awhile but then it was renovated and reopened.

I've seen my first shows after about 17 months of nothing. A couple of weeks ago I saw The Marshall Tucker Band and then Dengue Fever. Last night I saw Trampled By Turtles and Mt. Joy. I kept my mask on but I could count on a few fingers how many other people did. Tonight it's The Black Crowes. I haven't seen them in a long time and I like album-themed shows. Between new s

A long time ago I lived in Venice Beach and I took city buses to get to the LA Forum sometimes. As I recall, I had to make one transfer but the second bus dropped me off on Manchester and Prairie right next to the Forum. That should be pretty close to SoFi Stadium. Anyway, depending on where you're coming from there could be buses.

I got my former-San-Diego-ticket-holder presale code and I'll go for the L.A. show. I read that Inglewood is going to start issuing resident-only parking permits. I guess too many people were parking in the nearby neighborhood to go to concerts. I used to park on a side street and walk about half a mile to the L.A. Forum and it didn't seem like that street was full of parked cars. Any

I agree with you about L.A. and L.V. I think it’s more likely those will take the place of S.D. If I recall correctly, when the show was cancelled we were told we would get some kind of priority for tix for a new show. I wonder if that will really happen.

I’ve had both jabs and I’m anxious to get back to concerts. San Diego was the only Rolling Stones show I had a ticket for, and the stadium has been completely demolished. I’m hoping they’ll reschedule for Petco Park.
