Hi Keessie, I tried to download a couple of the Ron Wood shows that you kindly uploaded but had trouble with two; 1. Washington 24.11.1987....on extraction using Tugzip I only got the first 4 tracks...nothing else. 2. I downloaded disc 1 of Giessen 16.7.1988 but on extraction there was only an empty folder. I've tried both of them a few times each always with the same result, so I&#

I wish they'd get this stuff straightened out.I heard Keith say that theirs was a Mom & Pop operation and that he (Keith) was pop A girlfriend of mine who has known a man or two said that looking at it like that, that in her opinion Mick was definitely the man in that relationship.... Here's mine ----- Humble Pie covered the Stones plenty of times live, I'd love them to repay the compliment and do this staple from Humble Pie's setlist (even though it was written by N Ashford/V Simpson/J Armstead); Ex. I don't need no doctor........ I'm sure Mick & Lisa et al could do this justice between them.....

QuoteBliss This made me laugh because it is such a touchingly naive suggestion. Nellcote is an uber-valuable estate in an area of some of the priciest real estate in the world. The Rolling Stones are not French citizens and as such are not considered national treasures. France is going broke and their finances are in serious freefall. The local council of the Cote d'Azur wouldn't entert

Quotecrumbling_mice Apparently some very wealthy Russians own it at the moment and have no interest in it's musical connections (which I find so weird, that you could buy Nellcote and not be into the Stones!) Prior to that it was the Nazis who used it and prior to that Admirality I think. Yeah....I heard the other day that when the Stones were making the Exile doc they were refused permissi

O.K. I've listened to both of these now and although they are both from the same source and for me at least the Mp3 version is the best (It's been worked on), clearer, louder and no hiss left at all, having said that I've only checked out disc 1 as Gigasize won't let me download any more 'til tomorrow...Hope that helps, Cheers,Eddie

QuoteTitle5Take1 DIRTY WORK is a great album to exercise to, just because of the number of fast numbers. So I play it for work out sessions and so am glad the Stones made it as it helps me stay fit and trim! Also, it's fashionable to prefer Keith to Mick, just like it's fashionable to prefer John to Paul. Mick is my favorite Stone, and I'm aware that makes me "less pure&qu
