Quoteadotulipson now the visual part is on National TV just after we all pre ordered it. In fact, it will be broadcasted an edited version, not the whole DVD. My guess is that they will show only these songs: Gimme Shelter, Jumpin' Jack Flash, You Can't Always Get What You Want and (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, in a half-hour program.

QuoteRollingFreak QuoteCristiano Radtke Has anyone here seen Room 237 (a documentary about The Shining)? I did. It was... interesting. It was cool to see people dissect the film that way with their different theories, although at least half of them were or seemed bogus. It was stuff like "hm, I never knew Jack was reading a playboy, and that is pretty funny that he just leaves it there in pl

QuoteAquamarine It was at the Royal Albert Hall in London, four months before I (and stonesrule) saw the Stones at the same venue. For a first concert, it was an historic one. And soon after, another one with the Stones.

I wish I was as lucky as you are, seeing these bands in the 60s. My first ever concert was the Stones, in 1995 (I was 19 at the time).

QuoteAquamarine Well, I think that's still what they were called (it was May 1966)--but like I said they were backing Dylan, rather than doing a solo show. In fact, the next time I saw them, as the Band, was also not until the mid 1990s, in Virginia. It was a terrific show, but I wouldn't personally have said it was better than the Stones--that part's subjective, obviously.

Australian supergroup The Dead Daisies have a new member - Darryl Jones, bass player for the Rolling Stones since 1994. The Dead Daisies have been in a studio in Los Angeles this week working on new music.
