QuoteWuudy The tickets for all the Aussie concerts went so fast, they know that there's a massive demand for them here. I wouldn't mind betting that they do some extra shows in the Asia-Pacific region so that they can try and claw back some of the costs, and as a thank you to fans - maybe another Singapore, Wellington, Hawaii, some smaller venues in Australia. But we'll have to

Brian was dead man walking, and Mick wasn't sleeping with him. And, like others have said, no one wants to see Mick prancing around and asking, "Are you having a good time?" Too weird. It reminds me of seeing Madonna and Billy Idol 2-3 days after 9/11. It was a huge elephant in the room, and no one was focused. But it's a valid question.

QuoteMontrealsuperfan Any ideas of what I can do in Melbourne and Sydney next week, let me know. These are 2 of the coolest cities on the planet. You will have a great time. And a train ride to Canberra (from Sydney) is extremely worthwhile. Check pollstar.com for concert info.

This was always going to be the case unfortunately. No way does "the show go on" under these circumstances. Condolences to fans Down Under waking up to this bad news.

Quotepjb Yes the fans are having to pay big time i have six no refund flights already, Was flying over from NZ Sat a big expensive pain for everyone . Empathies. A lot of us were in the same boat when Keith fell out of the tree. I was going to cancel my flights, but decided, - "F. It, I'm going to Europe anyway." If you can swing it with your budget and vacation allotment, I

Quoteduffydawg Let's face it - this is a giant f#ck you to Jagger. Agreed on this part, at least. Wait 'til he's on the other side of the world, enjoying himself in the middle of a big tour, drip-feeding details of a European tour, and looking forward to the arrival of another grandchild and his first great-grandchild. So now he's grieving, and also has to console his t

There's often a disconnect there! Whether true or not, it was an expected response under the circumstances. (* actually, she's an assistant)

Hey, Jeff! Hang in there ... While we're waiting this is Stones mega-fan Jeff Gussin, 49, from Philadelphia. He’s at the conference. Been following band since '78 and worked load in-load out '94, '95, '97, '98, '99 for them. He tells theMusic.com.au he’s spent about $10,000 on following the tour around Australia. Followed the band around the US on last tour a

Quotethrak The Stones are not important now. Can you imagine Mick singing after this information. Probably he is blame himself now about this tragedy. He needs time now. Yep. And it's not just Mick. The whole band and crew are grieving. And Mick's kids. Mick is probably en route to be with L'Wren's family, as any decent boyfriend or husband would be. So I'd guess that P

QuoteDoomandGloom What a person chooses to do as far as work is a personal decision. Mick Jagger is responsible for the livelihoods of many good people that depend on him to hit the stage 100% of the time. He deserves our sympathies but we should not forget this is show business, on days like this we get a glimpse that's it's not such an easy job.... Agreed. Feel terrible for Mick.

QuoteMerlin Well, I hope we get that Stockholm date soon. But I don't really see how they will be able to play Friends arena in june. Would be a shame if they tried to manage it on the 16th or 30th. One day to build the stage AND try to set the sound in what must be one of the worst sounding arenas in the world. I think the Globe arena has better acoustics and that is completely round. Is

QuoteMerlin If the order of shows in the list is correct, then they would only have one day of rest before the Stockholm show. Hopefully, that won't affect the show. Not if they play June 31 (!)

QuoteHarm QuoteOnlyKeef BV, today in Italy many rumors about Rome instead of Milan. Are you agree ? So, writing Milano (+date) instead of Rome just to piss off journalists? what a waste of time (for real fans) You're ignoring the vicious competition among concert promoters -- and for which fans end up paying the price. The Milan guys and the Rome guys spread rumors and innuendo, stoked b

QuoteGazza Quotepaulywaul Quotestones40 No further gigs in America or U.K. as they are already over exposed from staging concerts there in 2012 & 2013. With the |Stones demands at $5.0m per gig not being met they have already had to compromise and reduce their concert fee considerably. After the 15 gig European tour the only market that they can realistically target is South America. A p

Quotebart-man Quotemrsw Does anyone know about a presale for Werchter? Same as the presale for Landgraaf. Saturday March 15 10:00 CET. John Mayer is also a headliner on the same day the Stones perform at Pinkpop. Hopefully they will do a duet again John Mayer is the only cloud among all today's rays of light.

QuoteRollingFreak I am scared every day of my life I'm gonna get it. I really try to protect myself, but I sometimes just get lost in the music. I'm not a musician, but I listen to music all day, in ear headphones, when I walk around and stuff. Those are just the easiest to store in my pocket since I'm out all the time. I try not to blast the music but sometimes the music just has

QuoteMunichhilton Does this clinical trial include unlimited beer? Hypothetically? There's a NASA study where you lie in bed for 70 days - get paid a ton of money to do something a lot of us already do. You could buy plenty of beer and Stones VIP packages with the proceeds.

It's a complete nonstory from a dubious news source, but still fun to get our blood pressure raised a little. Coincidentally, I'm watching Run-DMC's Walk This Way redo with Steven and Joe. Did wonders for both acts' careers. The Stones career isn't in the gutter like Aerosmith's was at the time, but an innovative deconstruction of an old tune with a cutting-edge

It was nice to be back in my hotel room with a warm cup of cocoa at 10 pm. Jesus Dean...cup of cocoa at 10pm?! How rock n roll of you. Theodora made it for me.
