There's a hotline for that: Missouri’s Elder Abuse and Neglect Hotline responds to reports of abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation. If you suspect someone is being abused, neglected or exploited, call the hotline at 800-392-0210.

Quotelatebloomer The film presents new interviews with ... Gene Simmons of Kiss, Whoopi Goldberg ... Gene is a fan. He told me about 20 years ago how he planned to buy the boxed set as soon as it came on sale. Was Whoopi sporting a gaudy Planet Hollywood jacket like the one she terrorized Stones fans with on the Miami PPV? For all his alleged business acumen, DC should be used in busine

QuoteR RIVAL SONS Look 'em up. + QuoteHarm Well, there is Jake Bugg I came across the Rival Sons' video for Pressure and Time the other day. Pretty cool. Influences obvious, but who cares? Also saw Jake Bugg in concert the other day, a very impressive songwriter but not much personality. Also recommend: Miles Kane - if you like Mod-style rock As Animals - new French ba

Maybe he keeps playing for his own benefit and longevity, because he likes to get out of the house. His legacy won't be affected. No one today talks about how Muddy Waters or John Lee Hooker or a myriad others phoned it in. Or how people ranging from Frank Sinatra to John Paul II were a little too reluctant to leave the stage. That's the beauty of nostalgia.

It's not a huge leap for Mr. Rotten - a punk rock version of Richard III (as depicted by Olivier) to Herod. Michelle Williams is hot, btw. And they are playing LA on the ol' devil's birthday. Glad to see Michael Cohl has been, uh, resurrected.

QuoteWinning Ugly VXII It was played in a stadium. East Hartford on August 26th, 2005. By the way,it was far from pointless. I was there. I have been to 14 Stones concerts and that version of "Get Up,Stand Up" stands out as one of the highlights. It went over very well,at least in my section. The stage lights turned green and yellow .... the colors of the Jamaican flag. T

QuoteEJM The man on seat 61 is a great rail travel site by a European rail fanatic with all sorts of interesting ways to get from a to b by rail. +1, though "global" rail fanatic is a better description. He is fervently opposed to Eurail passes and the like, major rip-offs in most cases. I'd go a step further and say that flying is cheaper and faster on this tour, eg AirB

Kids around the world are getting turned on to the Stones every day, and most will never get to see the band on stage. They need to catch up on 70+ years of history, and decide what album or DVD to buy with their hard-earned pocket money. Web sites like IORR allow the experts to share their wisdom with the next generations. Hopefully IORR will outlive us.

Anyone going from Bratislava? Will there be charter buses? Regular trains and buses back to Bratislava end well before midnight.

Of course the quotes were manufactured -- likely by some twentysomething liberal arts major -- and then randomly assigned. They were grating to read, but served their purpose in the news cycle. And I don't know what to think about the Facebook tribute that Mick may or may not have made. Still, it might be premature to characterize L'Wren as "this poor victim." She timed it

There's another thread on all this, not well headlined though. Monet's response to L'Wren was classier: Wonder if she's sick and tired of moaning dad?

That's almost $60k in today's money - good enough for a few VIP packages. Anyway, it's a derivative work and/or work for hire. So he's outta luck either way. Maybe he's depressed about being named Ruby.

QuoteMarthaTuesday I'm on a very tight budget and Paris might be better (and probably cheaper) for me than Rome. Maybe I'll see about selling my Rome tickets and going to Paris instead. But then, I've been to Paris before and never visited Rome (or any of Italy). If things were different moneywise, I'd do both! The Eternal City, c'mon! Rome sounds like your better op

Quotedcba QuoteDeanGoodman The Stones just show up, play the warhorses, cash the check and do some sightseeing - each surrounded by 20 Mossad guys. Dean, how can you write something like this? It's really a disgrace... The Stones will be surrounded by 20 Shin Beth agents. Only SB guys (and dolls) handle domestic problems. Mossad works abroad. I picture a scrum of Adam Sandler look

Quoteproudmary I live in Tel Aviv, twenty minutes from Hayarkon Park. This article was published before L'Wren' suicide. I think that now even this amount of money does not make Mick to add new shows. Plus endure all the problems associated with performances in Israel. but so far I have not heard any other news The problems would be endured by Shuki, surely? The Stones just show up

QuoteWuudy The tickets for all the Aussie concerts went so fast, they know that there's a massive demand for them here. I wouldn't mind betting that they do some extra shows in the Asia-Pacific region so that they can try and claw back some of the costs, and as a thank you to fans - maybe another Singapore, Wellington, Hawaii, some smaller venues in Australia. But we'll have to

Brian was dead man walking, and Mick wasn't sleeping with him. And, like others have said, no one wants to see Mick prancing around and asking, "Are you having a good time?" Too weird. It reminds me of seeing Madonna and Billy Idol 2-3 days after 9/11. It was a huge elephant in the room, and no one was focused. But it's a valid question.
