Never heard a Beatles/Stones debate before but I think the real question is - who's better the Cowsills or the Partridge Family?

I saw them in Orlando, Fl on Sunday, October 25 at the Tangerine Bowl. $15 per ticket (man was that expensive). The Henry Paul Band and Van Halen opened (could see Eddie's wife Valarie Bertinelli on the side of the stage). Was down on the field about in the middle and thought this will do. When the Stones came on, the field became a mob scene and could not see anything. Walked up into the

QuoteTooTough Comments on youtube are deactivated, because racists have their fun with this guy. And Axl Rose wore the Exile Shirt with the 3 balls guy in the AC ´89 broadcast. He could have chosen any other picture of the album sleeve - but chose this, as he is a racist, too. Is this another?

Don't forget he made over a hundert million dollars marketing this titles. Does he have to return the money (with interest)?

Quotewith sssoul yes, he did change his shirt. there were two sessions that night, both filmed; one was just for the cameras, and the other was for a crowd of acquaintances. the latter is when Keith wore the glittery Nudie jacket. i love that first shot dearly (and no, he did not pass out just after it was taken) Hi with sssoul - thanks for the info. I guess Roy Carr was trying to be fu

Is this down in that famous basement? Anymore photos from the same day? The caption for the photo says "Having lost his boots, Keith is about to lose consciousness. He crashed out moments after this photo was taken".

Not a big fan (like the Stones), but he sure could turn out great music over the years. One of the best at playing the piano. I liked the show he put on at Yankee Stadium a few years ago (I think it was the last show to be played there) - McCartney showed up to do a couple of numbers with him (it may be available on DVD). And best of all, his ex-wife sure was good looking!

Quotemarcovandereijk Quote2000 LYFH I believe he was the only person to work with both the Beatles and the Stones. Now that's something to be proud of. Does Eric Clapton count? Nicky Hopkins worked with Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Who, Jeff Beck, just to name a few. Yeah, how could I forget. How about playing live though, only Billy?

Quote2000 LYFH Quoteguezeg Thanks guys for your answers. I Did not know about George Harrison's album, that must be the link from the Beatles to the Stones. I believe he was the only person to work with both the Beatles and the Stones. Now that's something to be proud of. Does Eric Clapton count? Of course Brian Jones worked with both as did Lennon and McCartney.

Quoteguezeg Hi everyone, I guess Billy Preston started working with them around 1970 (get a line on you ?) and the collaboration ended around 1977. I'd like to know the details on how he managed to stay so close with them for 7 years and suddenly stop. - Did he meet them in 1970 ? - Did he work in Nellcote ? - Why was he taken on board for '73 European Tour ? - Did he play at E

Quotecorriecas i wonder why there are so many people on this board with negative remarks, hitting on Keef, jagger and Ronnie. Is not it great that the stones are back together, for whatever reason they might be doing. Recording, getting together to get the feeling again?? what does it matter keef has Jane Rose with him?? Im sure Charlie,Mick and Ronnie also got their own people with them.

Um....they played together in December and again for a couple of weeks in May. It's also possible Keith and Ronnie got together (maybe at Keith's) and jammed. Who knows maybe even Chuck tagged along. I would hop

QuoteStonesTod Quotebuffalo7478I would be happy with a couple of great blues covers with Ronnie on slide. DOH!!!! Don't let them see this!!! What you MEANT to say is that you'd be happy with another album that's at least as good as Beggar's Banquet, right? No, I think he meant - he would be happy with a couple of great blues covers with Ronnie on slide.

Quotemr_dja What's the street with the light show above it? Freemont Street? I think that was it. Pretty cool area away from the stip. If I've got the street name right, there was a cool bar called Freemont Street Regge & Blues that had each type of music in seperate rooms with shared kitchen & bathrooms in the middle. Mind you, this was 10+ years ago. Also, as a poster
