QuoteSpodlumt Quote: The OP specifically asked what we thought of this in 1967. That excludes anyone born after 1967 IF I WAS BORN IN DEC OF '66 AND WAS 8 MONTHS OLD WHEN IT WAS RELEASED, DOES THAT MEAN I CAN HAVE AN OPINION SINCE I WAS BORN BEFORE 1967? Not so fast, since you had to SHOUT - your out of luck! If you ask again with your caps off the committee may reconsider.

QuoteStonesTod Quotestonesnow I missed it--what got reported? ST, maybe you should use some smiley emoticons once in a while, so that certain people can see that you're joking. you know how much a smiley runs these days? things are lean around here, man...i can barely even afford any capital letters... What the h*ll does that mean. Man your pushing it!

QuoteDaveG July 25, 1966, The Rolling Stones at the Hollywood Bowl. August 28, 1966, The Beatles at Dodger Stadium. THe next one I remember was Cream at the LA Forum in October of '68. Many memorable concerts from that point on. I will say that when I was 16 or 17, my dad took me to a small club near our house to see the great jazz drummer Louis Bellson and his band, with Doc Sev

QuoteLady Jayne I don't begin to credit these figures as accurate. We know Paul McCartney's net assets were found to be less than £300m by Bennett J at the time of his divorce. Allowing for the most generous exchange rates, underestimates by Ernst and Young for their client, and better investment by Ringo (hard to believe!) there is no way he could be worth these figures by comparison

QuoteStonesTod QuoteGumbootCloggeroo Well, that settles the debate. Penelope Cruz has a Rolling Stones t-shirt and David Hasselhoff has a Beatles shirt, therefore The Stones are better. Glad we could finally put this nonsense to an end. first - someone must ask penelope if she even knows anything about the rolling stones, aside from their tongue logo...i'll volunteer if others are busy

Quotelatebloomer Quote71Tele I used to perform circumcisions but now I'm a hand model "Used to be" jokes: I used to be a road digger, but I got re-trenched. I used to be a sanitation engineer, but the city dumped me. I used to sell computer parts, but then I lost my drive. I used to be a shoe salesman, till they gave me the boot. I used to work at Starbucks, but I got tire

QuoteEdith Grove QuoteMax'sKansasCity Appears they lost power down there... as the eye moves by New Orleans... We still have power in the French Quarter, probably because the lines are underground here. No flooding reported, as of yet, within the levee system. The heaviest winds came in about two hours ago, gusting up to 62 MPH. The whole house has been shaking overnight. It's

Maybe it's me but some of these dollar figures seem a little high. Many people thought Bill Wyman was a millionaire in the 60's but as he explained to us mere mortals he only had about 18 pounds in the bank.

Interesting. Is Ringo's money from the Beatles only (note Phil Collins is Solo & Genesis)? I would not think he would be this rich unless its from other investments (real estate, stocks, etc.). Only a few song writing credits with the Beatles. But what do I know!
