I think that is correct. The 3 x 10 Band Masters are truly secret weapons! Worth every penny if you kind find a good one. So are the original Magnatone 260's from 1960. Incredible Amps!

Quotetatters And Jethro Tull (eligible since 1993) has still never even been nominated. For the life of me I do not understand why this band has not been nominated and inducted. Martin Barre's guitar playing by itself should have gotten them in. Countless numbers of genius level songs in their catalog of work. Oh well, I just listen to what I like that doesn't mean anyone has to

QuoteTheGreek I have to add my 2 cents about vintage Fender's and Custom Shop Fender's . There is no comparison , yes you can get sort of close but no cigar in the end . In September I was in Nashville and got schooled at Gruhns Guitars via a 1969 Fender Custom Telecaster , double bound 3 color sunburst ,maple neck with some nice flame and get this the neck has real heft to it and was n

I would bet on a DVD/Blu Ray release somewhere down the road. isn't there still a lawsuit ongoing about ownership of this performance? I don't know but I doubt it. The trailer sh

Sound systems for live shows were in general awful back in the 60's and most of the 70's due to the limitations of the equipment. Pretty much anytime we were in the first few rows of a show the majority of sound was coming directly from the stage with the exception of the vocals. Best sound for ampliphied live shows have always been the small clubs.

QuoteMathijs Quotegeorgie48 QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotegeorgie48 The thing with Johnny Johnson is that he actually delivered essential musical parts to the songs, allowing Chuck to add (great!) lyrics. Lyrics as such don't neccesarily result into great (musical) songs. So Johnson/Berry (or Berry/Johnson) credits would have been nice (and decent) in cases. It's a difficult one, Georg

QuoteRocky Dijon According to what Johnnie wrote in his book (or told his co-author), he was on salary through 1973. After that he was just paid like any sideman or session musician. However, the recording artist and credited songwriter on all those records was Chuck Berry, there were no royalties to receive just because you play on someone's sessions or gigs. I don't believe he ever pl

Quotemicawber Won't buy that shit. Just embarrassing. He wouldn't have released that if Chuck would be still alive. Big lack of creativity all around the Stones Wow man! Pretty rough on Ronnie aren't we? I'll be picking up a copy for certain. Talking about you had my toe tapping.

I goofed and may have missed the opportunity of seeing them in Chicago tonight. We flew up to New York for the Play It Loud exhibit at the MET. Managed to get the dates mixed up thinking they played Chicago this weekend. The clips I saw were fantastic.

Quotefrankotero Got the CD last night and loving it. A perfect Swan Song in my opinion, considering his age. There's even a few bum notes on the live song for people to mull over. But seriously there's some great Rock and Roll on this record. Most fans should find this very enjoyable. They (Dualtone) asked about fixing the slipped pull and a missed note on 3/4 time. We told them "
