I can see there’s some comments about this in the Tattoo thread, but thought it may be helpful to start a separate thread on this. Does anyone know the shows well enough to tell whether it’s the 25th or 26th or a mix of the two? I do hope that at least some of it is 25th as it was my first ever show. £10.50! Happy memories.

Annoying, as this is a missed opportunity. This is the fourth time Brussels Affair has been released: the download, then the beast of the box, then in Japan as a bonus CD with Marquee, and now this. For those who didn't have it, or couldn't afford it previously, then release Brussels separately whey don't you? For those that have Brussels, there's many other 1973 live s

Signed ones still available on the US store when I looked, but $750 is just nuts. I usually go the for super deluxe bells and whistles version, but in the case the two CD version will do nicely

Oddly enough met two of them in the same area of London. Ron Wood at this time of year in the Christmas section of Fortnum and Mason (a posh shop on Piccadilly in London). Lovely chap, had a bit of banter and Sally offered to take some photos. About two years to the day later met Mick Jagger in an antiquarian book shop called Henry Sotheran, just around the corner from Fortnums. Said hello,

Have been in on a few occasions. Lots of space and good atmosphere. On the No Filter dates the stage was very high, so being at the front was a disadvantage as you can’t see the entire stage. Being halfway back was better and you can rock up just before show time.

This is superb, thank you Matt. Any chance of extending to the day of the Twickenham show and/or the day after? I only have a fleeting visit to London. I would love to see this. Thank you.

Finding out about the Facebook sales for the 2012 O2 shows and getting a pit ticket for the first concert. Ended up on the front row, for a show I’d been waiting five years to happen

From a quick nosey at TM it looks like Pit are available from TM for Manchester at £500 and £580 for Twickenham. Only additional booking fee appears to be postage.

I live in Manchester. I would not recommend staying that close to the ground. It’s a rather boring area with little to do. Nearest budget hotels are near Salford Quays. The Ibis is probably the cheapest. There are lots of trams from the grounds back to city centre. Loads of places to stay and many are quite cheap. Alternatively an area called Chorlton cum Hardy is near the grounds and is qu

Even though the Pit is filling up on Keith’s side first you can only get in via Ronnie’s side. Eh? Outside is total chaos. Getting into the pit queue was virtually impossible. No problem with wristbands though. There was someone who seemed quite senior showing the security guards what to do.

The email was from Event Travel (I booked the hotel package). The only other detail is that it says there’s no early entry. I would paste a photo of it if I knew how to do it.

The stage is surprisingly high so if you are anywhere near the front you can’t see the other side of the stage at all

I agree with the other resports: a blinding show. Keith on fine form, blasting out some incredible riffs, particularly on Street Fighting Man which was exceptionally powerful. Happy was incredibly good too. Not sure what happened during Start Me Up but something of a cock up. Was on Ronnie side of the pit. The stage is very high so if you are by the rail or close to the front then you can'

Ronnie's side opened up at about 7.45. No logic why then. Until then we held to one side. People were allowed to walk through there to get to Keith's side. A lot of room on Ronnie's side just now

I recently bought the six CD Another Time, Another Place box which is pretty good sound quality and quite a bargain. There's lots of these grey market CDs on Amazon UK at the moment with new ones appearing regularly. I was wondering if anyone has compared and contrasted what's out there and has any recommendations? Was looking for best sound and am more interested in the studio/BB

I bought the very limited super duper version with LPs and book from CD Japan. Credit card shows charge of £233 which is about $335. Includes shipping but import charges are a lottery

I think that the cut outs come only with the super deluxe box, but you get just one. It's a lucky dip. You can buy them from the Stones' website though. £5 each.

Looks like a bit of history re-writing going on in the credits in the (otherwise wonderful) book. Keith now plays on both Sway and Moonlight Mile apparently.

Don't worry, the column on the right is the continuation of the DVD track listing. I can't read the text to the right of that though. Does it say which night the footage is from?
