Had coffee with Bill on the Upper West Side in NYC, very close to where both Woody and Mick had places back in the 80's. He's a very, very cool guy and I was happy to hear that his book was selling well. I got a few extra copies signed by him which you can buy here for $25--which is what the book retails for.

Excellent point LA Forum in pointing out Keith's 1978 comments regarding Brian: "He's waiting in the pool." Mind you this is after he had stolen his girlfriend! Or how about Mick commenting on stealing Jerry Hall from Bryan Ferry in the mid 70's: "He was busy working on his album while I was working on his chick." The point is, these guys are the farthe

Yeah, I'm a lifelong Stones fan and I live exactly 2 blocks away from the Beacon Theatre in the Upper West Side. I had about as much of a chance of getting into thaose shows as I did of building my own spaceship and flying myself to the moon. They certainly don't need the money, you'd think at some point they'd do it for the music and for the non super-rich fans. I was hangi

I can't help but think (hope?) that Keith is pretty far removed from the day to day decision making going on at this point, and that Jagger/Cohl are calling the shots. I mean its great that they are still going and all, but Jesus Christ, paid stand in 'young' models?? Give me a break. www.minor-ripper.blogspot.com

Awesome stuff, but you know what you can't go back in time. We live in a different world, and top concerts as well as top sporting events live are pretty much too expensive for people who aren't well off financially. I do wonder if Mick ever thinks to himself, "Ok, I have about $300 million dollars, more than I could possibly ever need, spend, want, give to my heirs, etc. Do we

Don't like Iggy Pop? Man, that's your problem. Guy's the closest thing to real rock and roll alive today--by a long shot. www.minor-ripper.blogspot.com

Highwire is an extremelly political song--and in my opinion pretty much the last good song they've written. Song is extremelly topical today, wish they'd dust it off live at some point. www.minor-ripper.blogspot.com
