Been listening to their incredible live album "On Tour ( w/ Eric Clapton )-- produced by Jimmy Miller, this record documents their rocking 1969 European tour that featured not only Clapton , but George Harrison ( who was still a Beatle ) and Dave Mason. They were one on the hottest bands in the world in 1969-1970.
When they imploded, their members helped produce some of the biggest acts in Forum: Tell Me
Wasn't an earlier instrumental that sounded like parts of Midnight Rambler on the 'Jamming with Edward" release ? Don't remember the tracks title, but I do recall it sounding like MR ..... Forum: Tell Me

Not only in the classic Easy Rider, but also the inspiration for the Beatles "She Said " Lennon said he was at a party tripping with Fonda and he kept saying he know what it was like to be dead. Lennon said "who put all that shit in your head" ? A song is born. Thanks Peter Forum: Tell Me

Agree with RollingFreak.. the 50th Beach Boys should have been it. It was such a great show ! Brian, Mike, Al were in top form-- Bruce Johnston didn't do much except cheerlead- but it was awesome-- should have ended there.
Brian even got up to play Bass on Fun Fun Fun --- he was in pretty good shape ! Forum: Tell Me
Saw him last year on a Pet Sounds show-- hate to say it, but I came away feeling he wa used more as a prop than a performer. He spoke a lot of the lines he would normally sing, and seemed quite uncomfortable up there on stage.
glad he's getting the help he needs. Forum: Tell Me
