If you really want to know how much better BLU_RAY AUDIO can be, get the Doobie Brothers QUADIO set that includes 4 of their classic albums in DTS high-resolution Stereo and Quad. All you need is a blu-ray player and 4 speakers. As good as CDs are in terms of sound, they don't have the capability to produce this kind of playback.

That's exactly what I'm worrying about that the only way you would know what your buying is imprinted on the actual CD's. (matrix numbers) In that case I would be stuck with the same two defaulty CD's with switched channels. As I'm sure most of you members are aware, the left and right channels were reversed on the official CD's for the LIVE AT TOKYO DOME 1990 release. I know there was some attempts at getting replacement CDs from the supplier but not everybody was successful. What's the general concensus with regard to the sound quality of the TOKYO 1990 CD's. Personally, I found them lacking in highs. Comments welcome.
