No, no. Got nothing to do with the hip. Bruce Springsteen takes priority for me this year with four shows. If the Stones are to do North America, the three shows are likely going to be over a 10-day period anyway. So I'd be looking at 12-13 days on the road, give or take. That's just fine with me, my wallet and my vacation days.

Quotesyrel QuoteTopi 30. 3 more and then I'm done. Were you always aiming for 33??? Me, I'm up to 47 now. Hope there's more than 3 to come. syrel 33 is my lucky number It's a good number. I was never aiming for anything, back in 1998 at my first show I certainly didn't think I would go on to see them 29 more times over three decades! I'm a late bloomer.

QuoteLien QuoteTopi Quoterolling1us To be honest, nowhere in the article i read a word about Steve touring with Robert. All i read is Steven talking about the album he produced for Cray. Or am i missing something ? Scroll to the very end: "Robert’s band features Richard Cousins (bass), Dover Weinberg (keyboards), Terence F. Clark (drums), and Steve Jordan (drums, percussion)"

QuoteIrix QuoteVoodooLounge13 I wonder what, if any, effect the economy will have on ticket sales the longer the delay in the tour is. I'm guessing none really, since most other bands seems to be selling incredibly well with insane ticket prices. Paul McCartney and the Rolling Stones seem to have no problem selling items (Tickets too?) for high prices: Vinyl-Singles-Box for $600 or T

Yes, it was someone who posted that on Shidoobee. Could well be that Steve is only with Cray in the US. And Cray's own website has this lineup for the band: QuoteThe Robert Cray Band features: Robert Cray - Guitar & Vocals Richard Cousins - Bass Dover Weinberg - Keyboards Les Falconer - Drums

It's one thing to announce the album and then release it later. Drop a single or two beforehand and get things going in the summer. QuoteVoodooLounge13 So perhaps a March announcement then? If they follow the same pattern, yes, a March announcement for a June start.
