I learned something today that has been evident in my collection for 50 years, but I've overlooked it. Perhaps others have know about it, maybe it's been discussed or documented before, but I have never seen it in discussions, books, reference manuals, or on line. I believe we've all known about the present or absent of "The Blind Man" text on the upper right corner on

The beginning of a great tour. Too bad the recording of this Colorado show is only fair in quality. But we have lots of memories of 1969. thanks for posting Ron Larry

However, just to be precise regarding the tracks, Wild Horses contains audience noise from the previous Gimme Shelter track from Live Licks which is not on the original Stripped track. Same goes for Angie, blended from Beast Of Burden. And regarding Sympathy For The Devil from Shine A Light, it contains the Ya Yas girl shouting "Paint It, Black You Devil" as on Ya Yas, and later sampled

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotepeoplewitheyes I dig the new tune, I'm not a huge blues fan - I like some unexpected chord changes in my music - but this is cool, and the overall sound is good and crunchy. I wish they would chuck on a harmony vocal though.... That bridge part ('Must be tryin to drive me crazy..') is just dying for a Keith (or Mick) harmony vocal. I guess with a

To me since 1994, the stadium sound is much clearer than in door shows, even sitting far back sounds fine. 78, 81 and 89 were rough outdoors. 97 was amazing outdoors 99 in Philly in doors best concert sound ever for me 05 Hershey best outdoor sound ever and best outdoor recording 02 05 06 very good out door sound in general Worst ever sound ac 89 ac 06 , 02 in door first Union Phill

I have Some Girls, Sticky fingers, It's Only rock and Roll, and Jump Back on mini disc. I play them on my portable mini disc player/recorder with head phones. The eq can be adjusted to taste. To me they sound like the CDs, nothing different, no different mixes, very clear stereo sound. Limited production, hence a little costly to buy, nice for collectors, but nothing special otherwise.

Keith says "we're working on it now as we speak,we cut a few new things and we're going in again later this year , which could be overdubs, or a few other songs to record, which is how I interpret it.

Regarding Hampton 81 4 lps? Legit? Bonus tracks ? Spelling errors? It seems the 81 colored vinyl 4 lp set is a nice looking bootleg. The label is from the bootleg group that has released all albums as box sets with lps CDs on colored vinyl

Was it ever actually "officially" released? On video or dvd? I know I have the vhs in box and DVDs from different sources. But it's been so long since they have been available I thought they were bootlegs This film would make a good box set release with other takes from the venues included in the footage plus the audio soundtracks

Mick obviously has used song books lyric sheets to remember lines to songs. They are not always accurate. The one that got the most attention from me was in "it's only rock n roll" For the past few years he would sing "feelings with blood on the page" and has since gone back to the original "spill it all over the stage"

Granted my sound system is old and not great , a pioneer system from 1977. But I listened with headphones with the digital download as well. Will play the CD in the car later. Yes it's well separated and crisp and you can hear everything . But, so many have said they hear things for the first time. I just don't hear anything new It could very well be the best of all releases,

Thanks for posting Any idea why the last track phone interview is edited/abbreviated? No question about Lady Madonna, the direction of music, or about some Japanese instruments. I assume the flexi is complete, or is this edited version on the flexi.

The hot rocks cover with the song banner on top is a much later release, which probably explains the mis match. The 11/18/71 version did not come with the banner cover It shouldn't change the value of this item with the 11/18/71 alternates

According to the latest Stones price guide from Rockin Records from 2013, with help from Very English And Rolling Stones expert Thomas Grosh the It's All Over Now purple white label listed as time 2:28 but plays all 3 verses is listed as value of 50-75 dollars the book does not mention the 3:20 that has the edit of 2 verses. So maybe it is rarer and not discovered by collectors and aut
