What is with all the hate.....I don't post must, I check in almost every day and I get so much hate. Hate for Jimmy, hate for Mick, hate for Paul, hate for everybody you do not agree with....it's ugly people. I've got nothing but love for these guys, the amount of joy they have brought to my life is immeasurable. Their music has saved my life so many times, I could never repay

Sadly, this street is a pedestrian as any other street now. There isn't much rock and roll left there and hasn't been for almost 20 years.

Little Richard underrated, NOT AT ALL! He is the King in my book. I have a funny Little Richard story, sometime in the early 90's he was playing in NYC at a club called The Bottom Line, sadly no longer here, they had the tables set up cafeteria style leading right up to the stage. I was at the bar and was so moved by the spirit that I jumped up on a table and ran right towards the st

Quotetupelo68 The Sweet Things NYC Stones Totally agree with this band, been a local NYC club act for a few years always put on a great show, real rock and roll. Also I'm surprised nobody mentioned the Diamond Dogs! A great rock and roll band and not the Bowie tribute band. Just about everything from them is quality )

There is something special and unique about New Orleans, if you've never been there I highly suggest you go. Check out the sendoff for the late, great Dr. John. In New Orleans they through a party when you're born, throw a party when you die and have a party everyday in between.

I had my Aortic valve replaced with a bovine valve in 2006, back then it was open heart surgery, not sure if they still need to do that anymore. It was 6 days in the hospital and I was up and moving around pretty well shortly after. Can't say how long it will take Mick to recover but he will have the best care money can buy and I can say, from experience, that he will be back and better th

I think we should leave Jimmy alone, he's given the world so much, maybe he's done and retired from recording and playing live. Maybe he only want's to play Zep tunes. Whatever his motivation is I am just happy to have all that he has given us and it's not such a bad thing to go out on top. The 2007 gig was fantastick, anything he or if Zep reunites will be compared to it a

Quotetomcasagranda I also still like SF Sorrow. However, at the same time, I listened to the Happy Mondays, and I no longer listen to them. I still dig out Primal Scream though, as Screamadelica is a fantastic album. I love TSMR and all associated singles including Child of the Moon. As for SF Sorrow, I haven't listened to it in a while but I do like it. Primal Scream and Happy M

To the OP, thank you so much for bringing Oasis back into my consciousness! I loved the first album but not much more. After following this post I checked it out and they have a 3 disk version of Definitely Maybe packed full of goodies and I also found an excellent 94 boot to go along with it. Great Rock and Roll no matter what anybody says!

This is a funny thread, much better than Mick's hair. I saw Oasis on the Brotherly Love Tour where they played with The Black Crowes. Both bands were great but were very different. I'm pretty sure all the Oasis haters in this thread like The Black Crowes. I happen to enjoy them both and the 5 thousand people at Radio City Music Hall did too.

After the Beatles I've never seen Ringo drum without a second drummer alongside him, never understood why especially if he was so good.

I lurk but I rarely ever post, it's not worth it. The flaming you get for just your opinion is ridiculous. I belong to several other message boards and never see the kind of ridicule I see hear. Plus here everybody is a know it all, got to know more than you and tell you about it. It's just stupid. I'm a bigger Stones fan than you...I've seen them more times than you, well
