A quick search by google reveals that some sources have the Stones recording listed as a Robinson/White song - in other words by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles. A search through their catalogue couldn't find any reference to it but I may have missed it. Anyone with info?

A nice version of 'Dancing With Mr D' on disc 33 - Alternate Takes And Demos. It's the best copy of this mix I've heard. Usually there's a drop off in sound quality around 02:40 and it's a little longer.
