$750 will not be a problem in Chicago. Not sure why Boston is always put up there as one of the big cities when Chicago is way bigger and the Stones love to play in Chicago.

I know people think the Vegas show on a Wednesday is lame, but it sure is way cheaper to fly out there during the week than it is on the weekend. I checked into flights and it's nearly double the price on Friday as opposed to Wednesday. Same with hotel prices.

I bought my sister and my boyfriend lucky dips for the last Chicago show. I had the VIP Pit, so I had to be in line for that and couldn't be the one to pick up the lucky dip tickets. I went and got a duplicate driver's license to give to my sister and gave her the CC that was used to purchase the tickets. They didn't ask her name, only glanced at the DL, and didn't check the C

QuoteCyranose ^^^ Yes, that would be great to meet up. Hopefully our driver won't have to work a full day that day (we're coming from Madison), and with the evening Brewer's game, there's going to be traffic, so I hope we don't cut it too close. Hard to know about your credit card dilemma. The card I used belonging to one of our group was a qualifying preferred AMEX

Nothing, not one single ticket popped up for Milwaukee. Glad I got my tickets yesterday on the AMEX presale and they were very decent seats too!

QuoteCyranose Flexy--that's great. So happy you were able to get 3 rows in front of me. It was nice being "concerned" with you--thanks again for the support. I got my 4 together at that price level after many attempts, so I'm relieved. Cool! It will be fun to meet up before the show at the pre-party. I'm still concerned because I used the AMEX preferred seat 800 numb

QuoteCyranose Got 4 in section 4 row H for $273. Now that I see what DEmerson paid, I wouldn't have done any better anyway as this was the price point I needed. Got them at 10:21 a.m. Section 4 must have been the one reserved for AMEX folks. Quite a few of us will be in this section. I wound up with Row E.

QuoteCyranose Of course, there were no prices listed for what I copied and pasted above. When I bought VIP last fall for the upcoming The Who tour, I didn't get to see any prices until I was into the transaction, so it was really frustrating. That is horrible! We should be told what they are beforehand. Of course, the Powers that Be probably think, "Oh, they'll be well into the

Problem is with the ticket drops on Ticketmaster, you have to keep checking diligently to see if anything is available. I certainly can't be online 24/7 to see if tickets have dropped.

This is effing insane. And what irks me is that we won't know what the prices are until we get on there tomorrow morning. Well, I'm just going for the regular tickets and will then see what the VIP packages are. They aren't going to sell those out right away, so I'm not worried about that. Cyranose, thank you for posting this. I'm not sure where to post it on the other

QuoteDREAMTIME i checked with the right people and there is no 'pit' for any stones show And somebody on another Stones board said he talked to a few people from Stub Hub who said they talked to the right people and there is some type of Pit area for this show! Arghhhhh, I wish we knew all of the information so we could plan. I don't want to be sitting there at 10 am tomorrow try

Quotelem motlow Quoteoldschool So basically unless you buy one of the outrageously expensive packages you may have little shot of getting floor seats in the first section? I don't blame the Stones as many big time bands do this type of VIP packages now but it is a shame the real fans are being priced out of the choice seats IMHO. thats a tough one-i sort of fall on both sides of this be

And the AMEX cards that are eligible for preferred seating are the high level ones and they require the phone number on the back of your card. My Blue Every day AMEX card doesn't qualify for preferred seating. I don't think some people are understanding that and think they all need to use a code, which they do not if they don't have the proper AMEX card.

I've been looking all over for the Pandora presale code and can't find anything. Also, if you put in the code for preferred seating, but pay with an American Express card that doesn't have that benefit, will it know and stop you from checking out?

They finally put all the presale information for the Milwaukee show on the Ticketmaster site. April 8 at 10 a.m. for American Express card holders.

It seems as if the only presale for this show is the one that Summer Fest is doing and they say it's AMEX card holders only. It starts on April 10 at 10 a.m. Central Time. ifyoucantrockme and I have been keeping tabs on what's going on with this show. AXS told us both that they are NOT doing the presale for this.

Shit, I'm glad I paid $1500 for the VIP Pit ticket. Wonder how that went? My boyfriend and sister have the $85 tickets for Chicago. Hope they get something 1/2 way decent.

So, when you check in, is that the same line you stand in for the VIP entrance? I want to be one of the first in line so I can get up front on the rail. I hope we don't have to pick up the tickets at one location and then, check in at another location. Can the people who had VIP Pit at the December shows let us know how it worked? I am hearing so many conflicting reports from all o

Yes, Comiskey is much smaller. But, I wasn't able to see any shows on that tour, unfortunately. I was unemployed at the time. I've only seen them at Alpine Valley in Wisconsin, the Soldier Field shows, and United Center.

Nahhhhh, I would rather they play smaller venues. I'm thinking I may have to travel out of the Chicagoland area to get a smaller place to see them. When they come here, they always play Soldier Field (football stadium) and it is just too big to really enjoy them.

I'm hoping they play Red Rocks in Morrison, CO! What a great venue and they can book it for 3 shows since it only seats 9,500 people. Hopefully someone gets this idea to the Stones people and they listen! I am obsessed with this idea and won't stop until it happens! Hee hee. Yeah, one can dream, right?

I was 7 when he passed. Was watching an episode of the Monkees when my mom came running into the room after hearing the news on the radio. She was screaming, "Elvis died, Elvis died!" She immediately changed my program and had the news on. It was horrible. Our entire family was in an uproar over the news. My mom was bawling like it was a relative that had died.

Not only do newspapers and reviewers get their information wrong, so do people who aren't fans. I was at a Rush show in Colorado and some guy was going on about how he's happy that Rush doesn't do farewell tours like the Stones always do. I said, "Ummmm, excuse me, but when did the Stones announce a farewell tour?" He said, "When they were here in Colorado. It wa

They got screwed big time on the Police tour as well. Over estimated what people would pay and were stuck with loads of tickets as the Police took the stage. Some people have been getting floor seats for $20 a few minutes before the show. You just have to hold out for 'em. Good, let the scalpers get screwed for a change.
