Rockmans post about the Sydney 73 show in another thread got me thinking. Why only Perth and Sydney soundboard recordings have surfaced? Were they all recorded on the tour? I have collected a heap of 73 photos from thr Auckland show from photographers there on the day. Most have never been seen. It became a passion project of mine and am happy to share with anyone interested bre

The Japanese SACDs of the 70s albums are top notch for me. I got them all when they came out a few years ago. Virgin mixes come behind them.

Happy birthday Sir Mick. I have had a glass of wine and played some exile to commemorate your birthday. Can’t wait to read up when your on tour kicking ass at 78 years young. You are an enigma, a one off and been part of my everyday listening experience for about 39 years since I first heard rewind at 10 years old in 1982. My first born has taken you first name and my 4th son has Jagger as his m

I still have the leather jacket, menu and a few other things. I went a couple of times to London and another one that was in Manchester? I recall it was much nicer than the London was this was in the early/mid 90s. Very happy with the jacket.

Hi there The live footage that starts at 3.45 I have never seen before. Can someone identify where and when it was taken as it looks like 64/65 footage which is always quite rare. Would be interesting to see if there is more footage out there of that show. Regards, Brendon from NZ

Would love to say I was the winner but no $12800US was too steep. I lead for awhile before it got silly. SKILLS did you have a go at the auction? I was surprised how much lower the original Aussie 73 went for compared to the Kiwi. I’m lucky enough to own a mint Aussie so my search continues for a Kiwi. It’s been a long affair which started about 36 years ago when I was 12 and saw one in a 2nd han

Just relaxing here in NZ Saturday morning and finally managed to enjoy a few moments child free with the GHS deluxe box. Have seen the 3 music videos before but not in this quality. The Silver Train video is just brilliant. Mick awesome in his blue jumpsuit, Mick and Keith singing together at the same mic, Charlie rolling his eyes at Micks dancing. Great little slide piece by Taylor. If you can w

The 25% hammer fee in the small print is a killer. That $5000 poster just cost another $1250 plus fees plus taxes plus postage.

Matt Lee I’m hoping you aren’t bidding on the NZ poster. I lost out to you years ago on an auction here in NZ. I’ve always wanted that poster due to it personally being so important. I’m hoping your happy with the number of posters of that particular poster you have and will let me have a fair shot at it. I can’t compete with the level some people will pay. I’ve spent 30 plus years just trying to

Great footage best ive seen and never seen Jaggers interview before. I have a great poster from the show that took me 30 years to acquire from the wall of Slowboat records in Wellington. First tried to buy it when I was about 13 and he said no. Kept trying until I was about 46 and he finally gave in. It’s framed next to the 73 Aussie poster. Still hunting the Kiwi one which Matt Lee outbid me on

From timeisonourside.com October 27, 1962: The Rolling Stones record demos of three songs at Curly Clayton Sound Studios, London. More Detective work more someone! Are these songs in circulation and what were they? We all have the IBC 63 demos but first I knew about 62 demos. Any ideas?

Thanks Deltics for those pics I had seen them but not in a long time. I think we can agree those are the earliest group photos. Does Rockman have any input on when he thinks those pics were taken. It is so interesting looking at those pictures and thinking about where we are at now 56/57 years later. It was just an incredible time and just young boys creating something that they could never have

Hi all I’m busy reading the latest Mojo Stones collector series 62-69. There is a photo of the group from April 14 1963 at Ken Colyers club which I had never seen before. A brilliant picture. Is that the earliest group picture. There is the Mick J one from May 1962 with him fronting Blues Incorporated. I believe I’ve seen some Marquee ones of Brian and or Keith but not a group one. Would love to

Hi team Can someone answer why some of the recent releases are “From the Vault” and some aren’t. For example SAN Jose 99 was a vault release but upcoming Bremen isn’t. There are other examples. Very curious to not why and why not. Cheers Brendon from New Zealand

Hi Carnaby I have never seen the group photo you posted above. Look like it says 63 on top. Anyone know where it is taken and who took it?. Outside the front door of Edith Grove perhaps? Cheers, Brendon

I cancelled my order with stones shop as postage a lot cheaper with amazon uk. I now see their version only has 4 postcards but the Stones store one has 6. Sad but I now regret cancelling my order for 2 bloody extra postcards. I see the stones store versions many have sold out!

You qualify if you call your first child Mick and your daughter Jade and your 4th son Charlie Jagger. Other 2 are Dylan and Tyler after some other great musicians. I’d suggest checking IORR when you wake up, during the day and before bed also makes you a super fan. My wife says it also qualifies you as something else as well. Been a fan since I was 11 so 35 years now and still get goosebumps hear

The photo which often purports to be from the Marquee gig (its in the "tours from now on" Sticky) Is that actually from the Marquee gig and do we know who the photographer is of that photo?. If it isn't from marquee dfop we know when it wss taken. There are a few others of Keith and Brian from the same gig which I have seen in the past. Hopefully someone will have an answer. Gre

I believe it might say Stray Cuts. That would explain an extra LP of additional songs. I'm glad they put the US and UK as one mono box. Let's hope TSMR is true mono and not a fold down. I hope the sound and packaging is the same quality as the Beatles mono box. Do it once do it well!

I am flying out on the 7th Sunday evening at 7.40pm I think. Richard Fox will be with me. Yes Im aware a few will be going from down under, Rob Grenfell is another, cant wait. Gonna be a long flight as we should sleep but I think a few quiet beers and stones discussions will make for a great flight.
