If Sweet Sound Of Heaven makes the set list Gimmie Shelter will be out.
Chanel will not be highlited twice in one show.
wrong they'll keep both numbers but ronnie and chanel will switch outfits before gimme shelter and he'll sing her part
the audience will never know the difference Forum: Tell Me

Could certainly be interesting... there are precedents ...didn't he once play bass on SFTD with EC on guitar ?
...but Keith might then have to play his instrument for a whole song !
not sure (but i'll have to look into that now thanks) i was thinking of how they played fingerprint file on the 75 tour with ronnie on bass and bill on synth Forum: Tell Me

I know absolutely nothing of the technical aspects, I just know the album sounds muffled (for lack of a better word). Maybe dull.
I love most of the songs on here, but the production leaves something to be desired. Ditto Ronnie's Gimme Some Neck.
Glimmers first time out?
absolutely agree
love the album hate the sound of it

does sweet black angel and ventilator blues in 1972 count as north america only?
also
tops in 1981
luxury and sure the one you need in 1975
lies and hound dog in 1978
Sweet Black Angel was only played once (my uncle was there!), so, I'd guess so, unless I'm misunderstanding the question.
not really a question just adding to the the Forum: Tell Me

If there is one album that is in need of a remastering it is IORR. All releases sound dull and flat as they mastered the life out of it.

A friend of mine said that the original UK vinyl sounds great, not at all as flat as the ones after it. Have you heard that and could it be really so?
Yes, the original vinyl release did sound better in terms of d Forum: Tell Me

It's telling that we got 83 pages of conversation on this Stones album whereas Crosseyed Heart got over 200 pages of mostly positive conversation from a solo Stone.
Says it all really.
might it also indicate that a good chunk of the hardcore fan base has died off in the nearly decade long gap between the two albums?
although i will admit to liking crosseyed heart s Forum: Tell Me

i'm still dipping my toes into bowie's stuff but this is the best quality i've ever seen the 1980 floor show
is this the official channel for the midnight special and if so does that mean this is an official release?
To me, an 'official' release is when they put it on streaming or bluray (for $$).

Looking forward to this immensely. Licks was the last gasp of something, I think.
I feel the same.
When I heard some 2006 shows something did not sound right.
well you could be referring to post-coconut tree Keef.
Sadly so.

between the buttons!?
what your issue with that one's mix?
mono or stereo i can hear the instruments just fine
Drums are all over the place on the stereo mix.
Guess that's why we have the (brilliant) mono mix.
However, I also wouldn't mind a new stereo mix with centered drums.
Also would like a Let it Bleed (the song) stereo mix Forum: Tell Me

yes keith seemed a little unfocused at times to put it mildly
but i wonder how much of that was related to the presence of the cameras
then again aren't these the sessions where he supposedly threatened somebody with a knife for offering an idea on a song they were working on
gotta pity mick keith seemed like a lot to handle at the time

Interesting that you posted this. I just watched the Gimmie Shelter movie for the first time in ages.
I just wonder why they did not release more of the MSG video. They had a great opportunity to release it with the YaYa's remaster.
They also show clips at Muscle Shoals Studios. I'd love to see the rest of what is available.
