Isn't going to fit here as anybody's favorite, I don't imagine. But as a December 2022 release by this Welsh musician I'll post it as new. Here, be one of the first 7.6 million views of one that probably is destined to be around for a long while, because of how many people's mental health struggles worldwide that it speaks (literally) so directly to. QuoteZotz Foundation Velvet: The Drumming of Maureen 'Moe' Tucker video: I enjoyed that, thanks. Some years ago in my local record store's used cd bin I happened on a copy of Magnet's 1997 "don't be a penguin"... autographed by Moe! I had never imagined I'd ever own anything autographed by a Velvet. Snatched it right up And this was cool. Q

Until “the line” in the Covid test disappeared for Jake, he was not allowed to return. As a matter of fact, he was still in Austin when they played the KC show. There were crew members still in Dallas for

Haley Reinhart's 2015 video cover, with Post-Modern Jukebox, of Radiohead's "Creep," is a gorgeous thing to watch and hear. Some others agree - it has 113 million views. But this vid IMO is even more fun to watch. The Charismatic Voice is the channel of Elizabeth Zharoff, a former opera singer and current voice coach. She's a huge music nerd, whip-smart, very engagi

Quoteslewan ask me on Wednesday, i.e. after the tickets for Bob Dylan's upcoming European tour went on sale She lit a burner on the stove and offered me a pipe. "I thought you’d never say hello," she said, "You look like the silent type." Then she opened up a book of poems and handed it to me written by an Italian poet from the thirteenth century. QuoteElmo Lewis Bruce is doing the old man walk in some of the clips of "10th Avenue". If in the heat of performances I'd slid across as many stages on my knees and jumped down ill-advisedly off as many speaker cabinets as he has, at his age I'm sure I'd be at least a little bit creaky too. Elton is a lot hobbled. By his fifties Prince had nearly crippled himself f

Even if it's Bruce, he's not frail and covid circa 2023 is much weaker than the 2020-2021 versions were. Most of the world has now had these later mutations, many people more than once, and nearly everybody bounces back fast now. Look at Mick last year. If Springsteen's got it, join the club, and figure on this show postponed and one more at most.

Just a quibble here, but $49.50 rounds to $50 (not $49) $69.50 rounds to $70 (not $69) $299.50 rounds to $300 (not $299) My 2019 Rolling Stones Pit $499.50 price before the $124 fees rounded to $500. Not to $499. Here, try it: The IRS says the same thing. We do TicketMonarchs, Rolling Stones Inc, Springsteen Inc, Macca Inc a cumulatively very big favor when we relate that prices

These sorts of prompts IMHO, whether by interviewers or as forum subjects, should always instead ask, "What is ONE OF your favorite (/most memorable)... ?" Cuz, c'mon, it's totally unrealistic to ask anyone who has lived at all to come up with their most favorite of just about anything. Least of all Rolling Stones musical moments. I love Bruce, have seen his excellent arena show before, but felt the need to sell my tickets for a couple reasons, but mostly buyer's remorse. Here's my brief story about the evils of TM. Many of us have had mild cases of these later strains of covid by now; you're fully functional, just contagious for awhile. Sit Nils down, double mask Steve and put him in an isolation box on the far edge of the stage, just his guitar wire, coming out of it? Just funnin'. Sounds li

It's a ticket to a showing of the concert film "Ladies and Gentlemen: The Rolling Stones" It was a big event when it came out in the spring of 1974 and in several cities like New York, LA, Chicago, etc. they showed it in large theaters with a JBL quadrophonic sound system, and sold reserved tickets th

When GHS came out in 1973 nobody I knew bought it. All I heard of it was radio play of Angie and Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Heartbreaker. Didn't like the latter. Actively hated the former... sappy pabulum IMO. I skipped GHS, and IORR and Black and Blue after it. May 28, 1971 (Friday) Mason Norfolk Virginia Norfolk Academy Gymnasium Near the end of 11th grade. I was 16. Mason was a 1968-1974 Norfolk heavy rock trio who played a kind of, as best I can recall, Cream meets Tull sound. And they were good! They had recently released what would be their only album, Harbour. The concert was during the school day as well. No trip or tickets needed. S
