The other thing to note is if you look at the States in America that had full on lockdowns and continued with them, and then you look at the States that eased the lockdowns you don't see greater covid deaths in those States that eased off and went back to work and school etc. Are we seeing real proof that lockdowns work, I'm not sure, I'm asking if someone knows more on this subje

QuoteMisterDDDD Very seriously don't wish this virus on anyone. But- for those that minimize it, spread propaganda and ignore the guidelines, it does make me a stronger believer in karma. First the news today about incoming (now never to be) Congressman Luke Letflow, who downplayed the severity of it publicly and hosted/attended numerous mask-less events, died from it in just eleven days

QuoteWitness The following quoted post throws a light on Dandelion's post QuoteMileHigh A thought experiment: Okay, so say you have a senior citizen's residence and 80% of the seniors over 80 have underlying medical conditions. Let's say that the doctors know from medical statics that the average person in this category will live another five years. Then, an outbreak of C

QuoteDandelionPowderman I don't understand why it has to be a direct consequence of covid. Isn't it just as serious when this virus make people (like me) with underlying conditions croak? It's like that for a big part of the remaining 94 percent. They would have lived, hadn't it been for covid. It's called a selective reading of numbers, mate I know what you hav

A lot of really sick old people in hospitals were sent into care homes to make room for expected covid patients, was it any wonder why so many elderly very sick people died earlier this year, add to that being confined to their rooms and also being unable to receive visits from love ones. This was an cruel decision to move these patient's and was the policy of multiple governments across

QuoteIrelandCalling4 The incomprehensible part, at least in Ireland, is the unquestioned, seemingly infallible nature of how cases are collated. No questions, analysis, or debate, is allowed and altering viewpoints are not aired on RTE/TV3. The case numbers are collated purely as a result of the RT-PCR test. Our Deputy Leader, Leo Varadkar (a doctor), tweeted (in his capacity as a doctor) that re

Quotebv Quotestone4ever According to the government figures in Britain only 6% of covid deaths have been a direct result of covid. I'm feeling worried that so many of you still believe this scam, it's just politics now, why else with all the statistics available to you would you still welcome lockdowns. I'm out of here, have a great life. This is untrue and undocumented lies.

According to the government figures in Britain only 6% of covid deaths have been a direct result of covid. The way old people have been treated in care homes confined to their bedrooms and allowed no visits from loved ones is it any wonder they are dying, these are mostly very sick people to start with. I feel sorry for everyone on hear believing everything their government's are telling

Sorry but I think it's ridiculous to lock down countries and cause millions to lose jobs and businesses when all that was needed was to protect the old and the sick from the virus, the cure to this virus is causing more harm than the virus. And the powers that be will not let this go away, this is too good an opportunity to implement control over us. MisterDDDD I hope for all our sakes I

No one is denying the importance of vaccines and flu jabs, I haven't seen much of that, it's just that some people don't believe in making them mandatory, it's nice to have freedom of choice,( especially as the vaccine might not work for long and might not stop the spread of the virus) but obviously some people believe that if we don't take the vaccine it will make life d

QuoteHappy24 Quotebv In one major country there was a poll saying 30% was unsure, 35% denial, and 35% ready for the vaccine. In another major country just 50% were ready for the vaccine. When they require a vaccine pass to board a plane, or to attend a football game or a concert, or to visit a mall, then I bet more people will be willing to get the vaccine. It's just a matter of time, and

It always seems a bit sad to me when old people with a few years left invest in buying holiday property or multiple properties in general, i mean why buy, even if Mick lives another 10 years i doubt he will spend more than just a handful of visits in any of his properties. Far better to dish the money out to his loved ones while he is still alive and let them buy the appropriate homes they wish

Quotejbwelda I dont think some people see the concept here, this is in a gated community, no one just walks in and walks around. As for the other places close by, they are owned by similar millionaire types who are not easily impressed by stardom. There is a fence around the place, and there are possibly alligators in the moat, sorry, the lake. That boring view of the swamp is what we sometimes c

QuoteMariuana I just saw some other pictures of the property and it does have a fence actually. But the fence is not big and the neighbor house is too close. The inside is very beautiful though but there is no way on Earth Mick is going to live or stay there himself nor he would allow Dev to stay there any longer than a week. There is absolutely no space for privacy, the view on neighbor windows

Quotethkbeercan Is this topic about historical racism or about the monetary value of playing bass for the Rolling Stones? In their hunt for a Mick Taylor replacement, didn't they remind each other that "this is an English band!"? That kind of sums it up for me. Darryl is just a hired hand like Chuck, but if anyone deserves full status it's Chuck, his involvement goes far deeper than Darryls, Darryl is so replaceable it's laughable, bring back Bill if the Stones are going to go full status.

QuoteGasLightStreet Quotestone4ever Voodoo Lounge is by far a better album and most would agree. I don't think that's the point. It's more about the sculpting of the album. VOODOO LOUNGE is very loose but it's also quite lazy with some horrific songs. STEEL WHEELS is very focused, it's a rather wound up tight album with a lot of clean playing - not tonal, just straight
