QuoteHairball Quotestone4ever I would also say that it would be a risky move for an elderly person or a sick person to attend a show But you're saying it's OK for them to perform in front of thousands? By most accounts, the Stones are considered "elderly", and when you consider their past serious health issues...the list goes on and on.... Yet previously you stated &quo

QuoteRokyfan Quotestone4ever QuoteHairball Sounds like a science fiction/horror movie, but that's the reality we're living in until this virus is neutralized some how.... It's a big fuss about nothing, today we hear that in Britain 1 in 14 have had covid 19, get the calculator out, 70 million Britons divided by 14 = 5 million. Divide the 46 thousand deaths by 5 million who have

QuoteTopi Quotegrzegorz67 The insurance companies won't touch stadium tours by the likes of G&R, the Stones etc unfortunately and you can't blame them. It's just too big a risk... GNR just rescheduled 2020 to 2021 (that's the subject of this very thread) so somebody probably did insure them. (The Stones may well be another matter.) Exactly and good luck to them

QuoteHairball I think Axl is in the high risk range with his obesity, plus Slash and Duff's past history with heavy duty substance abuse might put them in the high risk category also. Aside from that, seriously doubt any insurance company will be willing to take the risk considering all of the variables and uncertainties. Let's all just roll over and give in because the government te

QuoteBig Al As face-masks are to be worn when safely socially-distancing isn’t possible, couldn’t concerts start-up again? Couldn’t there just be a strict face-covering policy? Presicely, if we are told face masks stop the spread of the virus then surely to do as you suggest makes perfect sence, but as we know the way Covid 19 has been dealt with has nothing to do with facts.

Unlike others on here I've lost count, but the best one was Wembley 1990, worst one Cardiff 06', personally I think they have been delivering the same show since 89' very disappointing set lists but i always see them a bunch of times each tour, probably because i always thought it was my last chance to see Keith before he popped his clogs. Now i expect him to out live them all bles

QuoteMisterDDDD Quotestone4ever Maybe Keith and Jimmy should make an album together, they gell together surprisingly well, get a few guest singers in on a few tracks, Keith take care of the rest, beats waiting forever for a lousy Stones Jagger solo album. You sound mad. You mad, bro?? NO

Happy memories of the Urban Jungle tour, was a dream come true, definitely worth the wait, at that period in the 80s no one expected the Stones to get back together, personally i think this was the tail end of Keith's peak years, by 1994 he wasn't the same man and neither were the Stones.

Disagree retired-dog, Keith's voice has got better over the years and his harmonies have always been great ( except for 81' 82' tour ) I think it's more a case of Mick not wanting to harmonise with Keith on more recent era Stones albums, and at live shows Mick has relieved Keith of his back up vocals , preferring Bernard and co to do most of the work, but when Keith has a cha

Why would these two want to air their dirty laundry in public, I'm beginning to see why Keith distanced himself from these two horrors in about 2013. Having said that it's becoming clear Johnny is no wife beater, having problems with drink and drugs doesn't make him a bad person, and it's nice to see him in great shape again, obviously he's cleaned up his act, good luc

Something about this story really doesn't add up, no one would be that obvious, sounds like he's been a victim of some kind of social media witch hunt and decided to take his own life, either that or he's completely lost his mind, very sad. The article doesn't say if any of her three children were with this man, I'm guessing not.

Quotepeoplewitheyes Haha DP! You surely know what I mean. Most of the 'recent' output (Mick-lead) Stones songs has been single tracked, up-front in the mix vocals. Bring back those ragged harmonies and multi-tracked vocals, low in the mix. Such an important factor of the Stones sound that they seem to have completely forgotten about for the last 30 years. Yeah when Mick was lowe

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotestone4ever Strange that Keith does something really special ( in Jimmy Pages own words ) with Jimmy Page on some Stones sessions and it doesn't see the light of day for 35 years. Jimmy says he and Keith started from scratch on these particular sessions, can't wait to finally hear the results, hopefully Mick doesn't produce the guts out of it. Hav

But the answer to the question IMHO is ................. no ! no? they'v already done it => Yep, nothing wrong with that, this band is cool sitting down or just standing on the spot, so health permitting they

Quotebye bye johnny Mick talks about the new album at the end of his interview with BBC Radio 2's Zoe Ball. Doesn't sound anywhere near finished to me, he gives the impression a few tracks are nearly ready, but that nothing will be done in the near future, roughly translated IMAO we are looking towards another few years until it's released at this rate. Don't think it's an official video, just something someone put together, but what a gem this track is, i don't understand why the Stones don't do a double album of all the tracks they made that didn't make the final album cuts, or were just not quite finished.

One Hit To The Body, thought this worked really well live, Ronnie and Keith doing a good Job without Jimmys help. Love one of the comments here, on their worst day other Stones are still better than anyone else.

Johnny also mentioning that he was working on a Documentary for Keith, after a fall out with Amber Johnny was due to meet with Keith and Tom Waits who was working with Keith on this particular day. By the sound of it Johnny was too upset to meet them, Ambers Sister spent 4 hours trying to talk Depp to go along and record some footage. Would love to know what happened to this documentary, Kei

Quoteycagwywpmd MileHigh, you speak the sad truth.i know a few musicians who supplement their income with a little teaching, which is helping them get by. My 7 year old grandson has been having his guitar lessons on Zoom these last three months, and plays me new chords on FaceTime. The industry may die for the time being, but the music never will. Stone4ever, no, I’m not out and getting drunk
