I would be careful staying at any of the hotels on Banksville Road. They are only a couple miles from the stadium and the area is not bad at all but these hotels are often in the news and it is never for a good reason. I can walk to the Days Inn from my house and I would never think to recommend it to anyone.

The T does run from Mt.Lebanon directly to the North Shore. Heinz Field is the last stop on the line.

Hyatt Place is a perfect spot. Short walk to Heinz Field. Also close to several bars and restaurants as well as the casino.

Most of the hotels located in the downtown area are within walking distance. If not you can always jump on the T. The ride on the T from downtown to the Heinz Field stop take about 5 minutes and is free. There are also several hotels located in the Greentree area of the city which is about 3 miles from the stadium. If you stay anywhere outside of downtown just get to the area of the stadium early

I think the tour itinerary is fantastic. I am looking forward to seeing shows in some new cities and venues. We here in the US know just how great all of the towns are. It's a nice departure from the same old same old. If you think these places all suck then just don't go, I doubt you will be missed. As for the rest of us, we will be rocking in Columbus, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Detroit and
