QuoteGerardHennessy Quotekeefriffhards QuoteGerardHennessy Quotekeefriffhards QuoteDeanGoodman QuoteGerardHennessy I honestly think that a fall tour may be too soon for at least one of the 'big three'. Maybe even more than just one of them. The Stones are fine. It's some of the fans I'm worried about. Exactly Dean, and what's especially annoying is the cryptic way po

I got my copy two days ago (including a print from RW) and am still speechless. Holy Moly, Holy Margret, mein lieber Herr Gesangsverein: what a package! Besides the Nellcote Chronicles, the Crown Jewels in any collection of Stones related books. I am not able yet to express how special this leather clad piece of art is. Thread closed? User left? What did I miss? May I pass his mail address

QuoteEasterMan I would like a blu-ray covering the No Filter-tour with Charlie, with lesser played songs and the best versions of warhorses. Some songs they could include: 2017: Dancing With Mr. D Heartbreaker Ride 'Em On Down Just Your Fool Hate To See You Go 2018: Neighbours Shattered Fool To Cry The Worst She's A Rainbow 2019: Harlem Shuffle Mercy Mercy Monkey M

If there are hidden gems among the live recordings of the last, say, five years that feature Charlie Watts, I´m ready to pay for it. That said, I fully accept Steve Jordan being the drummer for the Rolling Stones since his first gig with them. I enjoy this tour a lot, I am happy to see them again on tour and they shine like diamonds. Ok, Ronnie seems to have seen happier days, but who knows what

QuoteProfessorWolf ... seriously is vienna the nashville of europe? ... That´s a great new perspective for me, yeeeh-haw. Hey-ho, Silver, tomorrow we´re gonna hear both kinds of music: country AND western. I like that, the OK Corral lies directly behind the Zentralfriedhof. Man, how do I get out of this palace of thoughts... Cheerio, Fillmore

Maybe the switch is connected differently to the pickups than in regular tellies? I could imagine that it needs some fumbling to find the middle position of the three way switch in order to make both pickups sound. With KRs hands especially, if I may say that. So maybe he gets the combination in the bridge-slot of the switch - and doesn’t use the other combinations? But, as often, I do not kno

QuoteRocky Dijon If you wear your common law wife's blouses and scarves, you're probably androgynous. If I was able to, I´d have a serious nutrition problem. The paint, the hair, the lip gloss, the special clothes - isn´t a lot of that (when worn by rock stars) purely about provocation? Like Rock n´Roll was supposed to be? But a very special few have that slight "almost-female&

As far as I remember, Tyler sat in the first row. With his walking stick. As said before, no pit, just one standing area. And, as said before, best venue on this tour, almost magic. Be there! Cheers, fillmore

I paid around 500 Euros for a pit ticket in the Waldbühne Berlin in 2017 - and never regretted it. Covid doesn´t make clubshows more attractive for me, but that would be the price range for a ticket in a small venue. Have to admit that my Springsteen on Broadway ticket did cost almosst twice as much, so probably i´d spend even more than that. cheers, Fillmore

Back to Alice Cooper: I only saw him once, opening for Mötley Crüe on their last farewell tour. He blew them out of the venue. The sound, the passion, the show (although I think the female guitar player overacted a bit), everything. Supercool! The Crüe couldnt do any other than s*ck after that . That first Detroit themed EP is a favorite of mine.

QuoteMathijs This is not the Black Crowes. This is the Robinson brothers with a lame, hired LA session band (...) playing covers. Mathijs (...) who use too much distortion on their amps or pedals. I still like the Robinsons as the core to the Crowes sound, but the original song had a terrific guitar sound, overdriven, but not distorted. The clip here sounds like 80ies hair metal guitar (´c

QuoteTheGreek Johnny Depp has a cool commercial out now for Sauvage -The New Elixir , as he is rocking what looks like to be a metal front Les Paul type instrument and he has a wall of amps and some wolves and he is laying down some taste licks ! Sure can play ! If he plays that "Wild Thing" riff himself (which I tend to doubt, at least in this commercial).

The guitar pictured looks like a Santana model with a different truss rod cover. Probably not every skull design aims at KR. For what I read around 1990, the only „new“ guitar design he really liked / used were the Music Mans, no? Ok, PRS is newer. The list of PRS users / endorsers is quite long, from country musicians (Johnny Hiland) to a lot of metal guys (Tremonti, for example). I hav
