They are playing secondary markets this tour to maximize ticket sales and give people in less-visited towns a chance to see them. The NY Times and LA times will review them no matter where they play. The "MT comeback" was just payback for him adding to a couple of tracks on the Exile reissue.

On Monday evening, my visiting out-of-town friends and I went to the Grand Del Mar in hopes of meeting someone in the band.
