Dead Flowers, one of my favorites. Great version with Lainy Wilson/ The only drawback was Ronnies guitar solo. Mick Taylor could nail this standing on his head/ Cool that Lainy got one verse on her own.

QuoteChacho Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band: The 1970's to about 1982 Bob Dylan: 1962 to about the Mid-1980's And as long as I am mentioning time frames, then The Rolling Stones would be: 1964 to about 1981 You got the time frames right. Artist's best production is when young up to 35 years old. Maybe 40. What were Pablo Picasso best years? We have one of his famo

QuoteJordyLicks96 So we do have 19 songs. Wonder if Mick is a bit under the weather. Either way great to hear 3 songs from Keith!! I doubt Mick is under the weather. But his voice and vocal cords might feel strained. The reason why Keith did three tunes. My take is that the Rolling Stones could do a 20 date schedule in 40 days. That each concert would be followed by one day off. The reason they

QuoteIrix Quotetriceratops This is the hugest hack in a while. But not the first one: in spring 2014, 145 million user records were stolen from eBay, in October 2013 hackers accessed about 152 million user accounts from Adobe Systems and in December 2013 cybercriminals were able to steal 40 million payment card numbers and another 70 million customer records from Target - . Thanks! And

This is the hugest hack in a while. Did the hackers demand a ransom? Was it revenge, because half the planet despises Ticket Master? Will Mick and Company miss out on getting paid??? (joking)

Out of Time --- New Orleans Very good version. Amped up a bit. More enthusiastic choruses and more lively and enthusiastic Mick/ But the marimbas are still buried compared to the studio version 1965. Pisses me off! This is clear video shot 60 ft away from the stage. So no video of the mega-LED screens is here or needed. Out of Time- The Rolling Stones live at the 2024 New Orleans Jazz Fe

Sorry, but The Beatles are useless to me. I never liked them. I can tolerate listening to 2-3 of their tunes. I have been Stones all the way since Satisfaction single came out in June 1965. Though this by George Harrison is good ---

In 1970 Cooder said in Rolling Stone Magazine: „The Rolling Stones brought me to England under totally false pretences. They weren’t playing well and were just messing around the studio. When there’d be a lull in the so-called rehearsals, I’d start to play my guitar. Keith Richard would leave the room immediately and never return.“ I thought he didn’t like me! But as I found out later the

"released to cinemas on Friday, February 11, 1983--- Wikipedia" I remember the exact night we went to see it. One or two days after it was released. It was a Sunday night and 3 inches of wet February snow was on the ground in Harvard Square. We saw it at the theater right in the center of Harvard Square. It opens up great with Keith doing Under My Thumb, then Mick coming in after ab

One of the best quasi-Stones tunes ever. This is in my top five of Stones. It has some variations that can be found on YouTube. Such as the original take that Mick did with Steve Winwood and others. Eventually the Stones "stole" Traffics producer, Jimmy Miller. Who was half brother to Judith Miller of the NY Times, who achieved her own recognition and fame. Their father Was Bill Miller

Just my opinion, but Mick has always been the instigator for another tour. That Charlie and Keith would just as soon stay at home. Keith has been playing so well and has a new enthusiasm since he quit drinking and smoking. Now it is Mick and Keith who are the forces behind a new tour. So chances are good that the Stones will have 13-15 dates this fall. Maybe Australia + NZ + Latin America. Plu

QuoteVoodooLounge13 Well now we can officially put a fork in them, though really I think that could be said several decades ago. Saw them about 5 years ago, playing the full Joshua Tree album, for very cheap in Buffalo - the only way I would have ever seen them. Glad I can say BTDT, but have never been a fan of Bono's narcissistic ego, or his politics for that matter. My opinion is ident
