I just listened to my 1981 Rolling Stones Boulder bootleg concert on 3 vinyls entitled Drive Carefully: Jagger's voice was great and at times intense, great, clear and loud guitars, not a single bad song!

The 3 sold out Rolling Stones concerts in the Feijenoord Stadium in Rotterdam were historic concerts. The Rolling Stones line-up: Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman, Ronnie Wood, Ian Stewart, Bobby Keys, Gene Barge and Chuck Leavell and great opening bands like George Thorogood and The Destroyers and The J. Geils Band. I went to see 2 concerts, I paid for one and got in for fr

Happy Birthday Satisfaction! This song came in like a hammer at the time in my youth, one of their greatest songs, I still have the 1965 Satisfaction single, it reached nr 1 in the Dutch topcharts 14-8-1965. It’s still a joy listening

First time I’ve seen Dick Taylor 82 perform without Phil May(He was missed). I enjoyed the concert in the Stonesfanmuseum in Lüchow with Dick Taylor and the Tallyman, great guitars and I loved the raw blues/rock guitar playing by Dick Taylor and the psychedelicsong LSD, it was worth travelling from The Netherlands to see this concert in this amazing venue

hbwriter: Thanks for your nice story. I used to pick up my bootlegs at the "waterlooplein in Amsterdam", in the 70's, it was exciting going for the illegal bootlegs cause it gave you the possibility to get close to your band while they were touring in other countries and the excitement of listening to these live concerts. Some of my boots: The Rolling Stones Summer Reruns W

QuoteBig Al QuoteTaylor1 QuoteBig Al I’m not sure about ‘unfulfilled potential’ The Small Faces were phenomenally good. For me, Marriott was the supreme vocalist of British rock.Played Do you know why he sang background vocals on In Another Land I’m unsure how his participation in In Another Land came about, truthfully. He was a fantastic guitarist, too. That often gets overlooked. his whi

The Guardian: “Cave called her: “A wild woman, bold, brilliant and beautiful. We have lost not just a fiercely unique talent, but the stored knowledge of a generation. Through her extraordinary, defiant and lived in voice, Marianne brought her own maverick truth to every song she sang, and every story she spoke. We loved her very much.” Ellis said: “I thought you’d bury us all, gorgeous. You

What a great loss, I loved his films and the TV series Twin Peaks, David Lynch's largest Exhibition was at the Bonnefanten Museum in Maasstricht in 2018 in the Netherlands called: 'Someone is in my House' with over 500 works of art, films, paintings, drawings and others, David Lynch was a true artist until the end.
