don't know about Newark I, but certanly didn't make any sleeve for it. Don't have it in my collection, and in such a mess with these new shows i don't remember if it was even recorded (properly, or in full lenght). But i could make a sleeve, of course, eager to contribute a bit, just need complete info (i could take it from Nico, but prefer to get full information, tracklistin

We must remember one thing: we have new Stones release every two months, like never before in their (and our) history. So why worry, everyone's taste would be satisfied. There will be 1970's, 1971's tour gigs, a lot of unreleased studio material etc. In the past we've been extremely happy to get the official release ev'ry year, two or so. And now we're getting

Well, thanks everyone for wonderful comments. Captain and I, we've spent a lot of time consulting on this one. For such a great remaster (and release) we agreed that a proper artwork should be done. As for me, i didn't sleep for two nights working on the sleeve (although i'm a little kid compared to Keef, for non-sleeping for several days/nights) Thanks again, my Stones friends

I'm listening to brand new release "LA Friday 1975" and after hearing Bobby's saxophone on "You Can't.." decided to check out the dates he's guesting on this tour, but Nico's web page is out (for a moment, i hope). Anyone can help with the information (about Nico. Bobby is in the second place for a moment)?

Hey Laughingsam, i'm also doing The Complete Stones History, album by album, with singles, alternate takes and outtakes, and i'm doing it for two years now, hope i'll finish it by the end of the 'anniversary' year. The most fun for me is the redesign of the original sleeves and packages for each CD (everyone of us has his own trip, that's the whole fun in it). I

Memo is from session for Performance movie, both with the Stones and Cooder+Winwood. It is in some book, i don't recall which, that Keith was jealous of Mick because of filming hot scenes with Anita, and that he didn't want to play on the track. He didn't play on any take. Then Jagger didn't like the Stones version so he recorded another with different line-up. But it wasn&

Hi, Stonsik, thanks for comment. Photoshop only, in this case. But it doesn't matter, it could be first PS version from nineties, or even stone age technique with scissors, newspaper photos, glue and letraset, as i did it in the beginning. The catch is in "no overdoing", or, as Captain says 'the less is more'. Ordinary font (no going mad with extravagant fonts, usually t

I remember when we (Stones fans) watched "Exile" for the first time, we agreed that most of the tracks are from Dallas Rehearsals bootleg, but we never checked that. So before you do the job, grab the boot and compare it with DVD, maybe it'll save your time and cut the tracklisting short. That blues is really great, but very short and incomplete, as always with the Stones rarities

Thanks for great artwork, Midnrambler. I also agree it's a shame from a band that always cared for the artwork to provide us only front sleeve in bad resolution. So we can't burn it to cd, print it and make it official in our hands. But, on the other hand, it's quite funny to use our imagination and make the rest by ourselves, like the sleeves posted here. Thanks again! Mr.D

Yeah, we all agree that the overdubs were done, and that nobody's playing live behind the amps (what was bothering me in the first place). What is more important, new Acid project is on it's way, and new Falo matrix too. Must get some sleep and concentrate on the artwork for new releases. After all, we love the Stones, aren't we? Cheers, Dejan

It certainly isn't played live behind the stage, Gile says that he was behind the stage before the BG show, and i was there with him, too. No big deal, just the ordinary back-stage as on every other rock concert. The Austin gig isn't bootleg recording, it is released on DVD, so the overdubs are common thing. I think that on 1:25 of "UMT" Keith doesn't play at all, it

Hi everybody, yes, Nico and Felix mention these versions of 'Guess I Should Know' & "Brown Leaves', but both are unverified. We don't know exact information of the origin for these quotes, but highly bootlegged versions of these songs must have come from 'Emotional', or et least "Some Girls' sessions (listen to the groove: drum sound, compresse

OK, just realized that the boot 'We Could Be Respectables' (MC-052) isn't from Detroit, as the cover says, but from New York Palladium 19/6. Also the version from Memphis (which i just downloaded) isn't the same as the released version on Sucking. You are right, "Whip" must be from Detroit and i'll make changes to my artworks. Fake bootleg sleeve information jus

Several years from now i've made a compilation for myself and what i wrote on the back sleeve is "When the Whip..." Midsouth Coliseum, Memphis 28/6/78 An audience source of the Detroit show reveals that the version of 'Whip' is not the one released on 'Sucking'. It is similar in groove, but is different version. Maybe to try with Memphis version Mr. D

Well thanks my friends for wonderful comments on the artwork, it's been a pleasure to work on it. I'm Not Signifying: just listen to the drums and bass guitar, they're not the same as the released version. Nicky's playing is very similar, but not the same. I think that both takes have been recorded the same day, hence the similarity. And, by the way, i still think that J

Thanks for uploading Sure you've noticed Mick says that he is currently working at the studio on Some Girls remaster album, if i got it right. Overdubbing vocals and things for 10 or so new numbers, outtakes of that era. I'm afraid that that would be the same mistake as Exile bonuses (although there is some good material on it) My opinion: A different Kind, Fiji Jim, I Can'

Hi my friends, Here is the artwork for Exile Outtakes. I felt free to call it Vowel Movement 'cause it seems to me that this is some acetate tape made for vocals to be done. If i'm wrong, or some of the text is incorrect, i'll gladly make the changes! Mr.D
