QuoteGasLightStreet Quotetreaclefingers QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteSoulSurvivor1990 It took me a long time to warm up to the 1981 tour. My first exposure to it was Still Life, which admittedly was not the best document of it in retrospect. I thought the performances were sloppy, choppy and Mick’s vocals were horrible. Then I finally heard the full Hampton Roads which is of course a much bette

QuoteRocky Dijon Soldatti or mpj are the best source. I believe it is still coming though it may be moved to 2025 in light of no other word. I do not believe it is VOODOO LOUNGE with the bonus EP of B-sides. It is a proper package of outtakes that Mick was finishing up early this year. That would be excellent news. I wonder if it's related to the Fully Finished outtakes? I hope it does

Quotedaspyknows QuoteBig Al Would anyone agree that at a concert attendee's judgement can be somewhat clouded by the overall experience? If anything, the - in my opinion - rather excellent fan-shot videos we're getting, are a better way of gaging how well an act or artist performed. As others have stated, you can clearly hear how good or bad a performance is. Being at the show in person

QuoteSighunt QuoteDoxa QuoteRedhotcarpet QuoteMathijs Quotestanlove Any list that has 1981 over 1989 is garbage to me. 1981 is by far a better tour. Some shows were ragged, but they still were the greatest rock and roll band in 1981. They played fabulous, and they still had the aura of sex and danger around them. 1989 was a great tour, but much slicker, much more theatre and much rehearsed.

QuoteMKjan QuoteProfessorWolf Quoteshattered QuoteTumblinDice76 QuoteProfessorWolf you know instead of following the pattern of miss you one night midnight rambler the next why not just play cyhmk instead they did rehearse it and it would work pretty well in that spot in the setlist I think this would be a great way to end a great tour. Quotebv My daughter joined me for the tour in LA, and came to the show in Santa Clara. She did some videos. What I was amazed about, was the screen graphics. I do rarely watch videos, as long as they are still touring, and I am rarely outside the pit area, unfortunately. When you are in the pit, you don't really see all the graphics, but with zoom out and zoom in in a video, you see the song

I am just pointing out(quote=Racca1962] To begin; I appreciate everyone's attempt to film a concert, and shares it. But when I look at the quality of recordings available so far of this Stones-tour, with lots of footage from the big screens, and I compare this to a lot

QuoteBig Al Quotetreaclefingers Come On, Toronto, 2013, on the 50th anniversary of it's original release. I always though they should have treated the audience to a full rendition, like Bowie did in '04 for the 40th anniversary of his debut single, Liza Jane. As J-J-Flash posted, they do overlook their early-to-mid 60's output, aside from the few they 'have' to play.

Quotefrankotero Whoa, I like the wine bottle idea. But then I got to thinking about the "PC" I suppose it's why there wouldn't be something like that. Same for Munich and Beer, seems obvious to me. So sad, the band that did the Black and Blue poster and C*cksucker Blues now can't do a poster with wine!

QuoteIrix QuoteDeanGoodman The Golden Gate Bridge is 50 miles and one county away from Levi's Stadium. But Santa Clara is part of the San Francisco Bay Area - . I also thought that the Golden Gate Bridge was a bit of a stretch, though I like the poster. As Santa Clara is wine country, why not a picture of a bottle of wine pouring into an open, tongue lapping mouth?

Quoteslewan Quotetreaclefingers Quotesaltoftheearth But why on earth didn't the Rolling Stones release a box set of soundboard recordings from the 1973 Tour of Europe last year? Obviously many shows were recorded by the Mobile. And as the Dylan set shows, obviously the release of 50 year old recordings would not hurt any ticket sales either. I would hypothesise that they look at the expect

Quotegeorgemcdonnell314 There will still be complaints. Why wasn't the tour longer. Why didn't they play in my backyard. Why haven't' they released a live album of the show I went to. Why haven't they said where they are going to play next. Why isn't there more stuff to complain about. The constant complaining may be the reason some stopped adding t
