QuoteDoxa It is nice to read and listen all those possible references to different sources. Or what kind of resemblances one hears. What is interesting and making 'Whole Wide World' a pretty exceptional new Stones track: the references typically go outside of their own recorded history. Usually, almost every time the instant reference is their old doings. I was and am very impressed tha

QuoteIrix Quotetreaclefingers Weirdly I see it at £22.62. I wonder why that is? It depends on shipping costs - when I change the delivery to Canada, it's £ 22.62 in my web browsers (instead of £ 27.14). If there ever was a reason to move to Canada eh?!

QuoteTopi It would appear that Ticketmaster has removed the option to filter out "Official Platinum" tickets when you do a search. So now the Platinums come up under "Standard" tickets. From what I did see some of those Platinums have also come down in price, much closer to the already overpriced "regular" tickets!

QuoteLeonidP Hit or miss! ... Just did a trip to Jacksonville, all was perfect on the way there. Return flight!! It was scheduled for 2:15pm, got there early, noon'ish. The it was delayed to 3:30 ... then 4:30 ... then 5:30 ... then 6:30 ... then 10:30 ... once we got that notice we decided to eat dinner. THEN at 7:30 they gave dinner credit for the airport, after most like us had alread

Quotegodzi68 Quotetreaclefingers Quotegodzi68 Thanks Doxa & treaclefingers! In another 5 or 6 months, my rating will definitely go up but I wanted the songs to sink in a bit first. If I compare HD to my 3 favorite 5 star albums (Some Girls, Let It Bleed & Sticky Fingers), it's not quite there... and I don't think it ever will hit 5 stars for me. But with all the factors involved

Fabulous time capsule, loved everything about it, even the blown lip sync by Mick at one point. A precursor to the Start Me up video.

Yes, great review. I rate the album a little higher, probably a 4.5. The only song that drags a little for me is Live By The Sword. I quite like Keith's contribution here and yet I find Crosseyed a little dull. Anyway, yes a nice read, thx.

Ha, great review, and nice b*tch slap delivered at the end... This is Daltrey’s final year of curating the Teenage Cancer Trust events, and on this showing – to borrow a phrase from some peers he’d blow off any stage – he couldn’t be going out with a bigger bang.

Quotebakersfield I see BMHO more in the tradition of 'Rip This Joint' i.e. The band captured a sense of spontaneity in the moment. She's So Cold sounds much more restrained, even measured to my ears, while BMHO is full on, balls-to-the-wall. I wasn't suggesting that they sounded similar. What I was saying is that what otherwise might be an average song is taken to uber heig

Quotepaulywaul Quotegrzegorz67 Quotepaulywaul Quotejohnnythunders Tickets for the RAH were tricky because no presales but investing £45 in becoming a Friend of the RAH seemed to pay off with a couple of Arena A seats for the 18th. Half an hour later after saying no repeatedly to a variety of lesser seats, Ticketmaster of all people threw up another pair of Arena A seats for the Wednesday. Result!

QuoteDoxa Quotegeorgelicks Quotetreaclefingers I find it interesting that with the start of the tour now less than 2 months out, that there's no album promotion or likely singles still to emerge. Was that badly timed? I mean there's nothing quite like a new album and a single on the charts while the band is touring it. It's still on the charts (though falling) in places like G
