Charlie, what can I say? Your talent helped produce a sound that I fell in love with over 45 years ago. The sound that has provided the soundtrack to my life, your gigs with your fellow Stones and with your own Jazz band are personal highlights in a life immersed in music. Your influences became my passions so thanks to you I discovered Miles, Coltrane and many, many more. I never had the p

Awwww Charlie…..RIP The glue that held it all together. Thanks for those irresistible beats, your effortless cool and those wonderful stages that you helped design. Love to his family and to the brothers that he leaves behind.

I’m so looking forward to this game, I’ve waited a long time to see England in a major final. I will be nervous on Sunday but something tells me that we have enough quality and self belief to win the thing. #threelions It will not be easy but England are going to win it. Please!

Keith is on the Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 at 8.30 today. I’m sure that it will be available on the BBC Sounds app later, not sure how that works outside of the UK though.

I’m really impressed with it, I think it’s the best that they’ve released for a while. It’s got a really blues feel to it, well done guys, you captured the mood perfectly.

Had a great night. Ronnie was his usual self and although it’s clear that he’s not a natural front man he sure made the most of it. He seemed much more comfortable when Imelda May was on stage and he could take a step away from the limelight. His playing was good and he paid a fitting tribute to Chuck. He’s got a great band, they really rocked out. A shout out to the support act Jack Broadbent

Re parking at Symphony Hall, avoid parking at Arena Birmingham (the NIA), it can take a long time to get out after the event. The car park at Paradise Circus which is on Brindley Drive is better and cheaper. It’s a 5 minute walk across Centenary Square to the ICC and Symphony Hall.

The capacity isn’t huge, just over 2,200. It’s a wonderful venue though. I really must get tickets to see Ronnie in my home town!

I’m a huge cricket fan and that game was insane. It had everything and will go down in history as the best white ball game ever. I hope that Mick and Charlie watched it together. A game like that should be shared with others.
