elmod, thank you very much for the file and the tip. I would have preferred an original poster (it's supposed to be a birthday present for an old friend of mine who attended that show with me), but this looks like an interesting option. Much appreciated!

I am looking for an original concert poster for the July 31, 1990 show at Praterstadion in Vienna, Austria. Will pay a good price for EX or better condition only.

Excellent article. My wife at first didn't want to attend this year's Vienna show, but after viewing Matt's video of "Out Of Time" from Munich she changed her mind, which sent me on a quest for an extra ticket to an already sold-out concert. (Thankfully I succeeded, and we had one hell of a time together.) Way to go, Matt!

This was the sixth Stones show I saw in Austria since 1990 (my first really big outdoor rock concert back then), and probably the best of the bunch. Sold-out stadium, great crowd, and the band in top form. Nothing but high praise in the Austrian press too. My wife originally didn't want to go, but then changed her mind after seeing Matt Lee's "Out Of Time" video from Munich on

QuoteOriongalaxy Hi all, is anyone able to share the link (in English) where I can follow current rules of attending cultural events in Vienna? Are they going to lift restrictions or rather stick to the 'green pass' upon entering? Thank you. This website should contain all the info you'll need: For details specifically regarding trips, concerts and other events, s

QuotespikenycI agree, I couldnt sit thru the whole special on TV. (I believe it was HBO not Netflix?) HBO did the 2001 "Live In New York City" special taped during Bruce's MSG stand with the E Street Band. "Springsteen On Broadway" was a Netflix exclusive.

The way I see it, the problem with "Springsteen on Broadway" isn't the vaccination clause -- the real problem is that this show is boring as hell. I had a hard time sitting through that Netflix special a couple of years ago (which my wife insisted to watch), and I've been a Springsteen fan for the best part of 25 years who always admired his earlier solo acoustic stuff. Quotenorthof49 QuoteToru A Japanese movie caption of Sympathy For The Devil lyrics was saying "Still fed up with Yoko Ono?", did Mick actually sing so? Don't recall hearing Jagger sing that lyric but there was a brief shot of a guy in the audience wearing a t-shirt saying " still mad at Yoko Ono " or something close to that. That might be where it came from. Yep. &quo

My wife and I just got home from a showing here in Vienna, Austria. We loved it. Excellent performance, very well filmed, many wonderful shots and good editing. Sound was just fine. During "Out of Control", one guy left the auditorium -- we thought he didn't like the film, but it appears that he just went to complain to one of the ushers that the volume was too low. Shortly after h

QuoteFather Ted Slightly OT because my reply references AC/DC but if you watch their Live at River Plate DVD, the fans are unbelievably enthusiastic which surely makes for a great show for everyone. The fans also appear younger. What I notice at many North American and European shows, is mainly middle aged and retired people standing still or watching the show through a smartphone. That prett

Saw "Crossfire Hurricane" on arte last night and was quite disappointed that they didn't cover the band's story throughout the 1980s and beyond. Granted, this being an "official" doc and all, it would have been hard for them to go into the details of the Jagger/Richards "feud" or Mick basically "selling" the Stones to Michael Cohl, but still.

Quote24FPS None of them are rarities. Over the four RS shows I've seen since 1990 I never heard them play "Let It Bleed", so this one would be "rare" enough for me.

My wife and I lucked out on regular GA standing tickets, but we managed to score two good seats in the lowest stand of sector C eventually. At slightly under €200 a pop, these are without doubt the most expensive tickets I ever bought for a rock concert. But I'm sure it will be worth every cent. ONE MORE SHOT!

Steven Jump was a legend in Springsteen fan/collecting circles, but I never knew that he'd been such a huge Stones nut too. Sad and shocking. Rest easy, Steve.

Quotedead.flowers QuoteGrison He made only one mistake in his life. Sending Peter Maffay (a German Singer ) in 1982 as a support act of the Rolling Stones in the Stadiums. He was just a poor guy lost. But he has his fans and his crowd. I just do not know why Fritz Rau did that. But he was the biggest inventor to present international guests at first glance in Germany. Was it really Fritz R

Quotemichaelsavage Quotecorriecas Quotemichaelsavage I find him quite boring and repetitive Bruce his sets are something the stones could be jealous of. i think i made my point. jeroen repetitive in the sense all his songs are the same/sound alike You obviously never listened to Springsteen's music. What you wrote is just a pathetic and infantile attempt to bash him at any price.
