Quotewiredallnight Here are both known Gimme Shelter outtakes. I can't hear any speed changes in none of them. Again, thanks a lot! Gimme Shelter I is the one - and this transfer is better! Though there still is a slight change at 2:33, but I can live with it...

The recent CaptainAcid remaster of the Let It Bleed Session reminded me of this: One of the early versions of Gimmie Shelter - the one with a rough solo Mick vocal and that’s faded at approx 4:18 - has a speed increase at about 2:30-2:32. To me it sounds like it’s maybe running a bit slow before that; and too fast after. I haven’t been able to find this track in a constant/correct speed. I

Thank you, kindly! A question about Gimme Shelter #2 (for the Captain or anybody else...) Everywhere I've found this track, there is a speed increase at 2:30/2:32. I think maybe it runs a bit slow before that, and then too fast. Is there a "fixed" version somewhere?

QuoteDiamondDog7 His Majesty, Could you tell me which tracks Brian Jones played on Beggars Banquet, please? This is so unclear to me. Some say he only played on some tracks and wasn't at the recording sessions that much. And others say he played on almost everything on that album...? Check HM's great site The Brian Jones Resource!:

QuoteHis Majesty Thanks. This from Vecko Revyn. Anything in here suggesting it might be from this mag? No, I don't think I ever read Veckorevyn.

QuoteHis Majesty Interesting and thanks! Will try and find that. Any help would be appreciated. Can you recall the name of the magazine or ones from the time? Bild perhaps? No we do not really know. Given this, I'll change the credit on my site etc to reflect this new info. There's nothing specifically Brian Jones about the harmonica part other than that it's played throughout

^ Thanks! Do we really know that it's Brian playing harmonica on Who's Been Sleeping Here? I clearly remember Mick stating the he overdubbed the harmonica. It was in a Swedish pop/teen magazine in 1967. There was a questions column, and to the question about who played the harmonica, Mick answered the he did, and that it was done by overdubbing. Maybe the reason I remember it

Quotedcba Quoterootsman I think the most plausible theory is that it is/was tracks that were considered and worked on for the bonus discs of the "deluxe" editions. Then ho do you explain there were plenty of B2B outtakes? This album is too new to be a candidate for a 2-cd reissue. I can't, it's just a theory... But how do you know that Bridges To Babylon won't get a
