Here's the CD cover Bruce signed for me: And here's the song he played for me and 40 000 else: Sorry about the quality, not the best boot. Anyway the boot is now at Dime and Jungleland. Actually, my brother filmed a video clip of the song which actually has better sound but I haven't had the time to upload it to Tube yet. He also filmed Murder Inc., Radio Nowhere a

Oh yeah, today I met him again. He shook our hands when leaving the hotel for the soundcheck. I reminded him about Youngstown and gave him a note that said "Youngstown, please!" He said, "Youngstown...I'll try!" It was on his planned setlist for tonight. Murder Inc. was played after it. But Boss is Boss, the setlists lives even inside the show as you can see from

It was me who requested Youngstown last night when the band arrived at the hotel. Bruce signed my Greatest Hits CD cover - a personalized autograph too. I asked whether he could do Youngstown and he said "It´s a possibility, I've been thinking about that one lately". I NEVER could have guessed he would do a full band version. I believe this is the first time this tour they have

Great sound quality. Much better than the Helsinki 2003 one. Thanks! Yeah, Keith wasn't standing - or playing - all night, but the setlist was a good one!

Topi here. During She´s So Cold Chuck clearly saw Keith down, because it happened right in front of Charlie´s drum set, not far from where Chuck was/is. In fact, I saw Chuck leaning over his keyboards and looking at Keith, obviously to see how Keith was doing and what had happened. BTW, in that Swedish TV4 interview, Mick himself admitted - indirectly - that the Helsinki show was bad. He went

He´s security. Right up there, apparently. For example, shadows Mick and Keith during the concerts should they decide to run the catwalks. He was around in Helsinki as well. Not saying he´s head of security, but he´s up there. Think I did see him by the B-stage railing during the actual show. He´s the guy who gave a bunch of fans picks and chatted with us for a while - the night before the

In Helsinki they gave away all the tickets free. The whole thing was advertised very sparingly.

Just read the Helsingin Sanomat (biggest newspaper in Finland) review. The first thing the reporter mentions is Keith falling during SSC, and Charlie laughing about it after the song was over while Mick looked angrily. HOWEVER, the setlist is praised in detail. Mick and Charlie also get positive remarks. This guy wasn´t low blowing the Stones like the Aftonbladet writer. "At least the Rolli

Ok. I have gone through a METAMORPHOSIS since 1998 as well - I have lost 33 kg´s of weight. So you would not have recognized me yesterday either And hey, Pmcguire, in 1998 the City were in 2nd division - now they are back in the Premiership.

Pmcguire! Are you the Manchester City fan with whom I queued all day when the Stones played Helsinki in 1998? If you remember, I was the first in the queue that time. You and your friend (Phil?) came in second. Later your friends showed up. You recommended Exile as an older Stones record to get, and sure enough I bought it the next day. Is your hair shorter nowadays? I think I actually saw you an

Hi Wesley! Recovered yet? It´s funny, but I had Sweet Virginia ringing in my ears earlier today. =) Did you know that you can listen the YLE Radio Suomi Rolling Stones Night online at areena.yle.fi, . Holle Holopainen and Harri Saksala talking and playing Stones. Be sure to catch it if you didn´t. Good to meet you, your wife and Gooner! I´m off to a hockey game - yes, in August - now.

I hate to say Keith "ruined" this concert. I hate to say it because he´s my favorite Stone. I do feel pessimistic about the gig, and a bit sad, too. Here´s my review: Toots and the Maytals were the opening act replacing Van Morrison who had for some reason cancelled. I´m not a reggae fan but can dig it. The sound during Toots´set was a bit messy, however. I was in FOS, Keith´s sta

I have a few pics here: - The Glimmer Twins! Too bad this pic is a little too bright. - soon after that pic was taken Keith first almost fell off the B-stage, rescued by Mick, and then fell on his ass, still kept playing though and finished the song before getting back up - not exactly sure if this is PIB or JJF.

I listened to that Aftonbladet clip. They also have a text review up (by the same reporter of course) and I take it that he does like to diss the Stones when he has the chance? The review was indeed somewhat, well, sensationalist. He still gave them some credit though where it was due. He liked Paint It Black, for instance.

Piotr, buddy...again, I am as much as Keef fan as you are. I cherish my two guitar picks from him as much as you do the autographed set list you got last year. But yesterday our idol was drunk, not tired. It was the walking and all. He had a tough time walking a straight line for Pete´s sake. Darryl and the roadies had to hold him. And I still said and still say he played just fine for most o

Lorenz, Keith was NOT OK. He was wasted. He actually fell on his butt a couple of times, during She´s So Cold and during Honky Tonk Women on the way back from the B-stage. During the trip back and the moment before he fell the 2nd time, Mick actually had to keep Keith from falling off the B-stage! HOWEVER. Keith´s playing _was_ OK. The times he did play, that is. He was spot on during the f

A couple of more pics from yesterday: The last one is Bernard signing for that 15-year autograph-collecting vet...who actually had his "henchmen" at the airport, telling when the Stones would leave there and everything...pretty systematic! Charlie had apparently signed at the airport. Well, I guess a hobby is a hobby, some people collect stamps =) I´m the first to admi

Wesley, I had parked in front of the stage quite early. Maybe that´s why you didn´t see me. =) I was wearing a black suit jacket and a red shirt. Bernard "ran into me" when walking in front of the stage to reach the actual back stage room. That´s when I first greeted him, and he shook my hand. Today I´ll be much more casual with the Bergen tee and black jeans, and a blue Shidoobe

Yes! I was right in front of the stage. That´s Bernard singing Wild Horses right there - which sounds great as a jazzy version. After the gig Bernard walked back to the hotel - accompanied by two Finnish(?) women =). He signed for me, I thanked him for the gig and hoped he would have a good one today. Also told him it was good to sing Ruby Tuesday with him (that was the sing-along encore). He

I don´t think they will start before 9 PM under any circumstances. They want to hold out for as long as possible for the pyros to have any effect. Still, being in Finland, you can bet that the effect of the intro pyros will be missed. Maybe it gets better towards Sympathy. Last time around, the curfew was around 11 PM, but it was supposedly a soft curfew. They exceeded it for about ten minute
