Quotetimbernardis That was a great article, thanks Slane. A nice contrast to all the negativity about the new tracks on these boards. plexi Nice article...But it kinda bothered me that Mick Taylor isn't mentioned in the article but that just about everybody else is...

I have a feeling it will be sinking lower as the hours and days pass by, but am hopeful it will stay at a solid 3. Meanwhile, looking forward to the next barrel scrapings so we can rate, dissect, reevaluate, reappraise, revise, and ultimately give a final judgement when the

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quoteexilestones QuoteThePaleRider Fans of the Stones from the Ya-Ya's years or even the Love You Live years probably thought Still Life sucked. I know I did. I can see new fans liking it though... I think you are correct. The three albums can't be compared. They are all different. I'm glad to have all of them. Still Life has so many great songs to l

When I think about it I realize that this golden era of music we've all experienced may be coming to an end and it's completely disheartening! Our rock heroes are aging and we are likely not going to have any live concerts for possibly years let alone going out to see a good bar band. Live shows have always been the backbone of rock and without the exhilaration and atmosphere of live ev

The Beatles Channel plays a lot of covers by other musicians. Is the Stones Channel doing the same?

Good song...but morbidly depressing..wish the tone had been uplifting. We really could have used that. I don't even want to hear it a 2nd time. Maybe later when this is over and we feel safe and we can look back...

Quoteumakmehrd QuoteBig Al Boris is most certainly not stupid or unintelligent. He’s probably one of the most articulate and intellectual Prime Minister’s this nation has seen post-Winston Churchill. Thatcher had the prowess; Johnson is credible, too. There is joviality and silliness, but it’s his charm. I’d certainly rather he than some limp-wristed, woke hypocrite like Justin Trudea. I'm

QuoteHappy24 How come 68.000 dead people in Italy during four flu seasons (25.000 in one year!) was no global problem and 4.000 dead people by the end of March this year stop the World turning? This kind of talk infuriates me...Cornovirus is much more contagious than the common flu, mutates more rapidly than the common flu, has a much higher death rate than the common flu and it is an ANIMA

QuoteTooTough Some experts (like the Robert-Koch-Institut) speak of the virus being possibly around for 2 years... so what´s the point in re-scheduling? There will be a vaccine by then if not a lot sooner.

The song does indeed remind me of 1989 but it never grabbed me or made an impression. Maybe for younger fans it did but not for anyone who had been listening to the Stones in '60's/'70's. It wasn't until years until later that a Stones single got my attention and really took hold...'Love Is Strong". Unfortunately it was also the last one.
