If they end up having to reschedule the dates for sometime in the future, I think there would be a high likelihood of adding more U.S. dates. So there could be a plus to this...

He tried to get Zeppelin to do it this year... Even offered them double ($14 million) what every other band was getting paid. Page was all over it, but Plant won't do it.

QuoteSomeTorontoGirl QuoteBobbyb98 Great to hear. I'm seeing the show in Philadelphia next week. How many Zep songs did Plant do? Nil. Ouch. Was hoping for at least one. I figured he would make up for Patty Griffin canceling last minute by doing some Zep. Still looking forward to show though.

I was also at the Forest Hills Stadium show... It was definitely a great concert, but I couldn't help but think that the Desert Trip crowd will not be pleased with the current Dylan setlist.

I was at the tour closer at Forest Hills Stadium - what a phenomenal show. Feeling very fortunate to have seen what is possibly his final U.S. performance. In respect to Simon & Garfunkel, I can't see why they wouldn't put aside the animosity for one final concert, with proceeds to charity. The money they could gross would be enormous...

Tollett was dejected when the Los An

Quotekeefriff99 I was at MSG just last week to see Iron Maiden. Met some other fans at the train station in New Haven and we traveled down together and back. I had a great time...it is NOT a dump in any way, shape or form. Anyone who says that has either never been there or is simply trying to be a contrarian prick. I was at the 2003 MSG show that was televised on HBO. Amazing concert. I&

QuoteShawn20 Never got him - the whole Jersey thing. Hammered that "I'm just a poor working stiff like you" persona all the way to his mansion, private schools, and country club life. Nailed it. I personally like his music, but he is such a hypocrite.

Any updates on the potential of a US tour this summer? It would make sense for them to at least play NY and LA after missing those cities on the Zip Code Tour.

Quotedmay You have to wonder, is Crosby using again? After reading Nash's "Wild Tales" and the story of Crosby's drug use, it's a wonder Croz is still alive. And Nash stood by him and for him through it all. I don't think that Crosby is using again, but I think everyone is fed up with the fact that he can't keep his opinion to himself. The rift between him and

According to Graham Nash, CSN are officially over. His given cause is David Crosby's apparent inability to get along with the rest of the group, years after having pushed Neil Young out of the group with his behavior.

Quotekeefriff99 I'm definitely interested in this tour. I'm still so mad at myself for not seeing the Eagles last year when I had a chance. I'd like to at least see Don and Joe solo before they hang it up... Speaking of which: ANY chance the Eagles ever tour again with Jackson Browne replacing Glenn, or is that sacrilegious? That would be the only way that the Eagles could c

Saw the show at MSG... Absolutely amazing. They are truly at the top of their game. The whole show was masterful, but "Love Reign O'er Me" was the pinnacle. Roger's voice sounds incredible, and Pete as always is a guitar god. See The Who if they come to your city!

QuoteBluzDude Quotekeefriff99 QuoteRnT QuoteMr.D I really like the stripped down band he is using on this tour, no horns except Jake, no backup singers, introducing the band only takes a couple of minutes, not ten like on his last few tours! QuoteBungo It will be interesting to see if this means the end of The Eagles as a performing band. He was the founder and integral vocalist and song-writer. I personally don't think they should try to keep playing shows. There's no point. However if Don Henley did want to keep things going I think the only replacement that would do Glenn justice would be Jackson Browne. He was like an u

I don't understand why all of these rock stars are so against The Dead. The inventiveness, creativity, and beautiful melodies/lyrics that their music has far surpasses most bands' music. Obviously I don't think they stack up against The Stones or Beatles, but I'd take The Dead over The Kinks any day.
