Ufff, I like the instrumental. Keith's solo is cool and authentic. But the chorus is really quite weird and I don't like the vocal production at all. Sounds like the 00's. The video? Is the woman just there for their average 60 plus fan? What's the story line and her reason to be there (artistically speaking, not marketing wise)? Hmm, the Criss Cross video beats this one by f

Very excited! If that broken heart is the artwork, indeed very cool! A good balance between being aware of what kind of design is stylisticly en vogue and not trying to hide that it's music from 80 year olds.

Just love it when a bunch of 60+ year olds get off on this media-manufactured "wokeness" debate while at the same time there are real policies being pushed through to stop children learning about their history, the current state of gender science, the climate crisis etc.

Hey everyone! We've got a new single out: I Can't Seem to Keep Up with You Can imagine that it's a bit too modern for some, but I dare to say that you still hear a Stones influence in the song. Cheers from Switzerland

What one must not exclude when thinking about tobacco is its production: There's still colonial dependencies in place and tobacco fields are often tied to deforestation and endangering people around it because of chemicals and stuff, let alone the exploitation of the people forced to work on those fields. Also, tobacco plants use up a lot of water, that in the future will need to be used oth

Yes, Hot Stuff is a special guitar driven type of Funk like you hear it on Parliament/Funkadelic records. It needs to be dirty and sleazy. Those later versions capture none of that and sound like something you'd put under a dubious commercial.

He managed to ruin everyone of those wonderful soul songs… they sound like Springsteen‘s voice on top of a generic Late Night house band. And concerning ticket prices. I think people are more outraged with Bruce‘s prices than with the Stones because the Stones - at least in the last 40 years - never pretended to connect with the „working class“. Obviously everything about the Stones is otherwo

QuoteGasLightStreet Woah! Nice guitaring on Bright Lights! That's some KEITH!!!!! Nice roll! Haha thanks so much! I spent my first years as a guitarist trying to copy Keith in sound and style as best as I could… and it lays a fantastic foundation to explore your own style after a while. Taught me more than any lesson

I think it‘s hard anyway to think strategically about releasing music these days. There is just so much good music and talent around and the habits and attitudes of listeners have changed. A song from 10, 20, 30 years back can suddenly become a hit. Young people listen to a R‘n‘B artist one minute, the next there‘s 90‘s techno or 80‘s synth wave like Kate Bush. And that‘s a good thing: There‘s no

Here's our latest single "Brother and Sister". We released the corresponding music video today: Hope you guys like it! I know many people on here don't really like 80's Disco, so I guess the kind of music we played when we started might be preferable to some : Cheers to all!

QuoteProfessorWolf what about newark and glastonbury did they have professional crews for them? what if they don't plan a physical release but a tv broadcast or something quickly slapped together like that? would they go thru the trouble of a professional film crew for that? I guess at Glasto they have the film crew anyway for the TV broadcast the BBC does every year. And in Newark t

Taking the nightjet to Berlin from Basel tonight. My fifth and last show this tour. I did everything by train and so far out of my trips to the Netherlands, Italy, France and Germany, I only had problems with the ICE to Köln/Essen. But tonight it‘s an ÖBB train so should be alright! Best of luck to all travellers.

QuoteRaiseTheKnife Can someone explain what Keith is doing from 5:44 in this video? Why is he playing totally out of sync with the rest of the band? Is he unable to hear himself or does he actually think it sounds good to play like that... I've noticed similar weird playing from him on other songs as well. I noticed this too and I think it‘s funny because sometimes Keith messes up and

For me, I could do without Start Me Up and Midnight Rambler every night. And I'd love to see Street Fighting Man in the last half again. But don't you guys think that the setlists of last and this year's tours have been more experimental than they've been in a long time? I'm mean they played an outtake (!!!) a few times last year, relived 19th Nervous Breakdown and
