I wonder how many pit tickets they hold for sale on the day of the show. So many unsold ones must go to Lucky Dips so they don't have a barren pit area when the band hits the stage. I've never done the Lucky Dip thing. Is the box office typically open long before you can pick up Dips?

How I long for the days before dynamic pricing, etc. Here in Halifax, NS we had been pretty much free of Ticketmaster until a recent ownership change of our largest venue and Ticketmaster were brought in and it's been touted that this is to improve the fan experience, etc. etc. All I can see is higher ticket costs due to their fees.
