LQ, I was in the O2 the other day (Friday last week) to see Prince. OK, the stage layout is different, but visualising the end-on stage arrangement that the Stones have, I can tell you one thing: if you get seats anywhere within say the first 8/9/10 rows of either floor blocks A1 or A3, or nearest to stage lower tiers blocks 101 on RW's side or 112 KR's side - you will absolutely not complain. It's a very clever layout in my opinion, because even up in row Y of block 111 (which is where I was for Prince), you actually do not feel as "distant" from the floor as say in somewhere like Wembley Arena ... dunno if you've ever been there. I'm in row H in A3 on the 21st, row H block 101 on the 23rd and row A block 112 on the 26th, and on the basis of my visit to the O2 last Friday I am pretty f***ing happy, let me tell you. OK, it would be lovely to be row A on the floor every time ... but given that sadly it's not the case, no complaints as regards the seats I've got and the issues of "proximity" and "view".
