2 Atlantic City tickets right on the B stage.

I have two (section 4, row 20, seats 1 and 2) right on the B stage. I just can't fly out there again.

I assume these are $450 each plus charges. Are you sure seats 1 and 2 are right against the B stage (or catwalk)?

Yes, they are $450 tickets plus $36.50 service charge and another $12.00 "convenience" fee.

Yes, I am sure the tickets are on the B stage, but feel free to call Ticketmaster or the Boardwalk Hall to be sure.

I advise anyone to call and check the seat location if you want to be sure. I have seats 19 and 20 in the same section and have phoned three different times to check with Boardwalk Hall, who have said each time that seat 20 is at the catwalk.

I have been in contact with Ticketmaster several times and they assured me before I purchased the tickets that they are in fact next to the B stage. But by all means check for yourself.

How come this conflict of info then ? I'm occupying one of the two seats that Beast is talking about, and I've categorically been told by the Boardwalk Hall itself that seats 19 & 20 in row 4 of floor section 4 are right up against the catwalk just at the leading edge (front) of the B stage ? We can't BOTH be right ? That's impossible.

Hi,

For your info, seats 1 and 2 are NOT on the B stage, they are in fact the outer most seats within that row. Seat numbering within rows runs from LEFT to RIGHT as you are facing the stage. If you wish to check this for yourself, call the following person.

Valarie McGonigal
Director of Marketing,
Atlantic City Convention Center, Boardwalk Hall
2301 Boardwalk
Atlantic City, NJ 08401
Ph. 609-348-7072 Fx. 609-348-7230

Sorry to disappoint, but we couldn't BOTH be correct - my friend & I are occupying seats 19 & 20, and they ARE by the catwalk.

Not that it matters to me because the tickets have been sold but Ticketmaster once again confirmed that the Boardwalk Hall seating charts are not entirely accurate because they do not generally have the B stage and that seats 19 and 20 are generally on the aisle but with the Stones cocnert, the aisle seats are lower numbers.

Also, there are not an equal number of seats per row in section 4 as the the B stage cuts into the section. Anyway that's the information I received from Ticketmaster.

Let me know after the concert where your seats were.

Well, I can only reiterate what (between my friend and I) we've now been told FOUR times - and not by Ticketmaster but by the Boardwalk Hall itself. So after all this we'll be justifiably EXTREMELY disappointed and pissed off if those seats turn out to be anywhere other than where they've told us they are. But as I say, as you're facing the stage - seat numbering is low on the left to high on the right (towards the catwalk/B stage). That's what we've been assured. Anyway, a week tomorrow we'll find out !

The Boardwalk Hall marketing director again confirmed to me today that in section 4 the lower-numbered seats (i.e., starting at 1) are at the far left as you face the stage and the higher-numbered seats are nearer the catwalk. Call me silly, but I would hope that a person working FOR and INSIDE Boardwalk Hall itself has a better knowledge of the Hall's seat numbering plan - which she consulted as she spoke to me - than does a random Ticketmaster employee. If that proves not to be the case, be assured that I will be looking to strangle the woman....

And AFTER you've strangled her, I will strangle her AGAIN, and then for good measure I will string her up, use her corpse as target practice for a week, draw and quarter her, and place her head on a spike outside the Boardwalk Hall with a warning that THIS is the fate awaiting those that give out misinformation about seat numbering within rows at Rolling Stones concerts !! SO THERE !!

Those seats had BETTER be by the catwalk !! Grrrr mutter mutter !!

My seat 20 was right on the catwalk and on the corner of the B-stage as well - perfect spot.

Well the strange thing was .... there WASN'T a seat 20, the last one of the row was actually number 19. So we were as pleased as punch really, it just allowed us to be exactly where we wanted and we stood for the entire show. Seat 19 ended up being used as a repository for bags, jackets and PALMS (when not being furiously waved), and otherwise we were both stood up right against the catwalk and B stage for the entire show. So ten out of ten to the Atlantic City Boarwalk Hall, no complaints from us whatsoever. Ms McGonigal does indeed live to fight another day in Atlantic City !!!
