Surrey rehearsals 1968

I found two different editions of this boot. One is the VGP, the other I don't know; actually is identical to VGP but the Untitled tracks are splitted in various subtitles.

I don't understand if there's a mistake in the title list but seems to me that I'll coming home and My home is a prison are the same track with different title.
Fact is that Zentgraf list them as separate tracks; so, I just wonder if there's a mess up in my files or if it's Zentgraf mistake.

The only silver Cd release is the VGP. If you have another version it's a CDR made by somebody. There is also a vinyl release with allegedly one more instrumental track.

I recall that a member here managed to id one of the jams on the original VGP release, I also recall he did his own remastering job and posted it, perhaps the boot you have found nabbed his?

It sounded less hissy etc.

Ok folks, this one comes from my old vinyl version, I bought in 1986 on the one and only

record fair in Kiel - Forstbaumschule!!!!!!! (some days before I took my first trip to London).

I was 20 years old, and it was a fantastic summer day.

That record fair wasn´t very big, but it was very nice there.

All my favourite bootleg sellers were there, and I had to decide between that one or

the "Undercover Outtakes" in multicoloured vinyl.

I thought about it 30 min. and then I decided to drive back home with my bicycle (45 min.).

I asked my mother for some money, but I didn´t tell her what I have to do with it (it´s better.....)

The record is limited to 200 numbered copies & if I´m right, I payed about 20 DM (=10 Euro) for it!!!!!!

I must tell you, that I didn´t play that record very often.

The quality is far from good and I did not find any complete song on it.

But I recognized that this session was never uploaded anywhere!!! (or was I blind for the last years???)

Anyway: I remastered the whole thing, did some pitchcorrection and leave this recording in two parts

(side 1 & side 2 of the record)

I´ve tried to split it in the correct way as in the tracklist above, but........

Sorry, it was too difficult for me to recognize a short 10 sec. snip!!!

A scan of the insert (the old kind of cover) & the label is included.

SHARE & ENJOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One was given to me many years ago and includes 11 tracks. The other one was taken from Dime and has 19 tracks.
They are almost identical although the setlists are messed up and the titels on the VGP cover don't correspond.
What is indicated as I'll coming home (in the 11 tracks CDR) is a mix of My home is a prison + No expectations + Stray cat blues (in the 19 tracks CDR).
This is not a problem anyway. What I wonder is if I'll coming home and My home is a prison are two different tracks or the same track with two different titles.

As per the Zentgraf list (32 tracks), no idea of where it comes from. Does it exist a CD Surrey Reh. with 32 tracks?

P.S.: Quique, seems your Zentgraf list is not updated. He added three versions of My home is a prison and deleted "Shoot my baby".

This is confusing hah! grinning smiley

Shortly after, Keith Altham wrote an article in the NME about the Morden rehearsal he attended. He quotes the funny ''infact' bits and so on.

It should be pointed out that the tape was neither produced or engineered by Miller and Kramer.
