Zagalo, I seem to recall you posted the 1972 BBC radio 1 three part documentary
"The Rolling Stones Story" narrated by Alexis Korner, but I don't see it in your list. Do you still have it?
If not, I do!

Deltics,
I got a bit confused there - I now see the Stash doc was posted on "Tell Me" - I only visit there occasionally and didn't know it was there
I shall visit more often in future if posting is going on there too smiling smiley

As for the Alexis doc, yes, I do still have it...and,surprisingly, still available here

Thanks to Zagalo & the other contributors for this thread.

It's annoying when you find out about an interesting BBC programme only when it's no longer available, but a thread like this can fill some of the gaps.

Cheers.

Bill Wyman interview - BBC Radio Scotland, 24 Oct.'07.

Recording of Bill Wyman interview broadcast BBC Radio Scotland, 24 Oct.'07.
Edi Stark hosted The Radio Cafe's audience with Bill Wyman at an outside broadcast in the Eastgate Theatre, Peebles 18 October, 2007.

[rapidshare.com]

45 min., 64 kbps.

He comes across in the interview as an articulate, personable, contented, modest type of guy.
He mentions that he was ,and still is, closest to CW, saying that MJ & KR, although they spoke with London accents, came from out in the sticks.
As for his image when he was touring with RS that he looked like someone who carries a knife in his pocket, he puts it down to shyness.
An interesting interview, and I was impressed by the guy. I think the interview took place on his 71st birthday.

Cheers.
