Great stuff but the second show has been available complete for years!

These sound nice, but they are not "first generation sources"...

I think so too,Bob! I always thought Tarantula was supposed to be a pretty reputable label(heard this from LZ friends) but after the buttkicking Sister Morphine took on a thread here awhile back I dont like how these guys are getting a free pass on their "Liver" set which they claim to use the original tapes on and spent hours repairing the drop outs when all they did was use SM disc and EQ d it. I like the better low end on Tarantulas but I feel it was impossible for for both labels to claim to use the original tape and make the repairs EXACTLY the same! All labels repackage stuff but to just flat out lie to get you to buy it is wrong!

Sorry,Urbansteel-On my comment on the LIVER post I stated (with emphasis) that my complaint was with TARANTULA and no reflection on you who continues to bring us loads of great discs and I thank you very much for being so kind and gracious(not just for posts but other things you have done for me!) And I liked the rmastr that Tarantula did on the SOUND of the Oakland 69 2nd show but that they just need to be honest,thats all. Once again thank you, Urbansteel for all you have done for us!!
